Watching parades may be in my top 3 favorite activities of all time. And this one is the BEST, because every float is made entirely of plants & flowers! 🌺🌸🌼🌷🌿 Luckily, we live down the street 👍👍 #roseparade2018#floralinspiration#76trombones

I'm not often at a loss for words, but 2017 really knocked the wind out of me. 😔 For most people reading this, I don't see you all too often (or ever, IG stranger-friends!) From the outside, it most certainly looks like I had a happy, fun filled year. 🎊Which is mostly true! thanks to a wonderful hubs, a joyful 2.5 yr old, and a rad job working at a vintage furniture prop house, here in perpetually sunny LA. 🌴☀️For all this, I am so grateful.
But the truth is that emotionally I have felt unbalanced. When my little girl stopped breast-feeding on her 2nd birthday in June (yea we made it that long! 😱), my hormones went berserk and I experienced some super weird anxiety. 😖
... On top of that, I have been aching to share WAY more of my creative work/vintage discoveries on social media. 🌈When you have a full-time job and a toddler attached to your hip, it's easy to use your free time vegging out. But in the words of the late great Queen: I want to break free!💥
And so 2018, I am ready for every incredible thing you have to offer. I am ready to dig my heels in and work hard. I am ready to take myself off the back burner, and focus on my Big ideas. I am ready to start trusting the deep inner knowledge that I can truly transform myself into a bad ass creative person who GETS. SHIT. DONE. ✅🎉✅ and I wish the same for you!! Happy New Year!
Weekend vintage pattern+texture inspo 💗 at an EPIC hidden estate sale in Glendale today 🌷so psyched that I'm shifting into a new buyer position at work, so I'll finally be living my dream as a professional thrift store shopper 🙏 #vintagehunterextraordinaire
