"And in this life, may you always have courage. Courage to love, even after your heart has been broken, to forgive, even when no apology has been given...courage to be kind, even when it will not be returned. Have courage to chase your dreams, regardless of how far away they seem. Find the courage inside you to sit in silence, even when you may not like the answers it has to offer. For you see, it takes courage to face each day and every situation with an open heart, but when you are able to do this, you slowly become the person you are meant to be"
Friday musings and thoughts...chasing dreams with an open heart and embracing the future and everything it has to offer. #Namaste sweet souls, be courageous today

Daily practice 1.1 spiritual ascension “We often mask our negativity and negative intentions with our idealized self-image—the person we think we are, the person we want others to see, or the person we believe we need to, or should, be.
Negativity and negative intentions are distorted energy and consciousness. our negativity and negative intentions create suffering because they are distortions—and our distortions keep us separate from ourselves and others.
They originate in part as a reaction to pain. Negativity is our blame and judgment, our selfishness, pessimism, self-righteousness, cruelty, and apathy. Negative intentions are the parts of us that want to punish or humiliate, that don’t want to give, that give to get, that won’t receive, that won’t see the other person beyond our own needs, that won’t reveal our vulnerability, that won’t surrender. Subtle or obvious." ~Aimee Falchuk

I'm so excited to be spending the next ten days here in Israel, exploring the country, and of course trying all the yummy food. Local friends, where are some of you favorite places to eat? Next stop = dinner... can't wait! 😋

We all have limited emotional and physical energy: learning to spend it wisely is the definition of adulting. Do you use it to visibly react in the moment? Because you HAVE to show that person what they did to you, how they made you feel? Or do you conserve it to keep yourself steady for the long term? Or save it for the time not so far away where you need to change your course of action? It’s hard to swap the immediacy of satisfaction for actual impact at some undetermined point down the line. But it’s inevitably a better use of that rare and valuable commodity: your limited personal energy. Don’t give it away for no result 💛

Twelve years as a mover, trainer, coach, and teacher have brought me here- to a place where I feel connected and confident to share my philosophy on movement through what I call HeroFlow- a practice that moves with you, bringing and bending modalities together into something unique to you as an individual. Twelve years in and I know I’m just getting started. I’m honored to share my movement journey with you, all of you, via social media and to those who have taken class or workshops with me before, and to those joining me this weekend in NYC @yogatothepeople and next Saturday @yttpbk. .
There are still spots left to sign up and flow together. Link in my bio to reserve your spot. I look forward to seeing you #humanheroes and #Nyc 👁⚡️👁 📷 @matt_roy
Three of my go to quotes for challenging moments. 😊 Which one do you prefer? (1-3)
1."Sometimes you face difficult times not because you're doing something wrong, but because you're doing something right."
~ Joel Osteen
2."Remember that sometimes not getting what you want is a stroke of luck." ~ Dalai Lama
3."Don't worry about hard times beacuse some of the most beautiful things we have in life come from change and mistakes."
