With the official farewell to winter yesterday, I’m saluting all the winter brides out there who totally nailed this season with major winter wedding style points! Although, spring seems a bit far off still- I’m currently sitting in PA watching the fourth nor’easter in 3 weeks hit and I’ve lost track of how much snow Tahoe is buried under. Either way, happy spring!
This winter wedding was definitely one of the coldest I’ve ever photographed. It was in the single digits, but the sun was out and made everything look so pretty. Not to mention, this rockstar couple braved the cold and hung in there with me while we captured some awesome portraits!
Sometimes the best location to shoot all of the pretty wedding details is right outside! Kerri’s backyard has this awesome stone fireplace, some ivy crawling up a tree, and a wooden shed. It was a photographer (and videographers) dream for deets! I love this photograph of Kerri’s engagement ring with her soft winter bouquet and the hint of snow in the background 😍❄️💍
Finishing up this elopement today. I love that our spring season has been filled with elopements. It’s been so creatively refreshing to start our year with couples who just want to be outside, no matter the weather. I have a feeling this is going to be a really, really good year. 🙌🏻
