Hi, Conor McDonnell (@conormcdphoto) here, I am honoured to announce that I have been asked by WWF to become a WWF-UK ambassador.
I’m fortunate enough to have seen and photographed some of the world’s most precious habitats as well as some of the most iconic names in the entertainment industry. I believe like WWF, that getting young people to understand the world we live in has never been more important to our planet.
I am incredibly passionate about making sure we work together to create a prosperous future for this planet, and am excited to be a voice to spread WWF’s vital messages.
This photograph I took of wolves in the snow in Norway is one of my favourite wildlife images. I can’t wait to carry on capturing snapshots of the natural world. Look out for some very exciting projects with WWF in the coming months!
It was a cold winters morning in Madikwe. We had heard them in the distance and started making our way down towards the airstrip to look for tracks.
The mist was hanging low as the sun rose in the distance, creating and almost ethereal atmosphere.
As we drove towards the sun the mist gave way to a striking silhouette.
It was was magnificent.
It was Africa!

A leopardess atop her rocky throne in the Land of Leopards, JAWAI.
Today is our third day on safari at @sujanluxury’s JAWAI Leopard Camp. I still can’t believe the kind of terrain we are driving through in search of leopards.
After spending time with this leopard pictured here, we found another not 15 minutes away after dark. This leopard though was settled on the outer wall of a temple. A priest could be seen on the temple grounds, & incredible music filled the air. You could smell the burning incense all the way to our car. And here we were, amidst all of this, with a leopard on the hunt!
To see how humans & animals co-exist in JAWAI is incredible, like nothing I’ve experienced before.

I think it’s safe to say that @wildeyesa’s début safari experience to India has been somewhat of a success 😉
There’s still 2 days of safari left before my guests say goodbye to SUJÁN Jawai, but boy they are making that a very tough prospect indeed. With incredible sights such as this, in a destination relatively unknown (until now) to the rest of the world, my guests simply wanna stay longer!
Many thanks to the incredible @sujanluxury safari team, at all 3 of their properties. It’s been life-changing!
