When we were at Rottnest we bought tickets for the hop on hop off bus which allows you to stop at many different places all around the island. One of our favourite stops was West End. Here there are a few different boardwalks to lookouts with amazing views and also to a lookout stop to view seals on Cathedral Rocks.
I can’t believe this was just a week ago; ready for take-off on our biggest family adventure yet - we flew @JetstarNZ to Japan people!!! Opening up the boys minds by showing them the world (outside of Minecraft lol) is a massive priority to us, and man, we are getting amongst it here. Tokyo ✔ Kyoto = currently, snowboarding in Nagano = can’t freaking wait!
These monkeys came swinging right over to play when our monkeys bellied up to the glass. They might get a little bored on a quiet, cold day at the Cleveland Zoo. We're in town for a few days as a stop over on the drive to our new home in DC. Never miss a #slowtravel opportunity! Any Cleveland tips for us?

The most incredible of places! The mountain is geothermal, hence the electric color of the lake and vibrant hues of the soil. There were steam vents along the path leading up to the summit. It truly is an incredible word! Rain or sun, we are gonna have fun 🌦
I didn’t grow up skiing, until last year in Whistler I’d never even been on skis! I had no idea what an incredible family sport it is, because honestly it’s always been a bit intimidating and a huge pain with all that gear! But we are officially a family that loves to ski! Spending tons of great family time on the mountain was my favorite part of the week! I can’t wait to see where we ski next! #afamilythatskistogether#skicolorado#steamboatsprings#travelwithkids#5hourschoolweek#newpassions

Have you seen the Pure baby carrier yet? Well it’s a really great soft structured carrier that is super easy to use. You can cross the straps for ease of use and it weights just over a pound. 😃
You’re sure to love it!💗
I mean, his face says it all 🤩 this lucky guy got to play pilot for a few minutes on our flight this morning and got his little wings to boot
but back to reality? remember when I thought our last travel day was rough? haha, wellllll all that today and a lost cellphone, getting puked on in the plane and a killer migraine from nailing my head while carrying three giant suitcases, two kids and three backpacks to check in. moral of the story? @aarondodson is not just an epic travel partner - he’s apparently our good luck charm too! never leaving him behind again
annnnd good thing we don’t have to: HE’S HOME!!!! ran into him in the airport in los angeles and hoping it’s a good long time before we travel sans our fave again
lastly? you know how all us millennials abbreviate words so unnecessarily? ie: totes, obvi, forevs. this morning eli shortened (VERY loud and proud) ‘horrible’ to what sounded like “whores” while boarding the plane. my small six year old child yelling WHORES descriptively while walking by a crowd of people. and I just shrugged. 🤷🏽♀️ iiiit’s been one of those days folks, it’s been one of those days
Before to move to England we came here on holiday. We rented a motorhome in Surrey and we traveled around London, the South Coast and the Surrey County. We fell in love with England and the feeling was more than positive: that’s the place for us. We moved here one year later and we are still happy about our choice! One of the best place we saw during our on the road was the Seven Sisters. The Seven Sisters is a series of chalk cliffs, they are amazingly beautiful! Since then we’ve never stopped exploring and we are in love with this breathtaking land.
Tomorrow this dude and I will be jumping in the car and heading to meet the wonderful @wildchild_london and he is gonna be doing his best model pose for their photo shoot, super excited for our little road trip to help out this amazing new brand
Embracing winter but counting the days (157) until summer! I may or may not be plotting an escape or two. ☀️

Kindness + compassion are really important things to our family. So today we left our leftover dinner salad in the bush under our mailbox where a jackrabbit lives so he could have some greens, we gave each other big hugs and said “I love you” even when we were frustrated, I said “yes” when Stella wanted to help cut up veggies even though it added a half an hour to my lunch prep 😂, and we told a stranger at the library how pretty her hair was done up. 👌🏼 It’s contagious, pass it along. @vangirlsrule

It’s another snow day up here! We’ve had loads of snow today and all our tracks from this morning are covered up again. 😁❄️☃️ Not so easy to drive on, but we don’t have any place to go tomorrow. Snow fun all. Day. Long. ❄️🙌🏻
Looking forward to having some fun instead!☃️
