Meet our friend Farzad, who coordinated our visits and meetings with the tea industry in Gilan province in Iran
Thank you Farzad for such an amazing job.
We met so many interesting and wonderful people at the farms, factories, institutions and tea houses. You are the best!
Took my Polish friend Karol on his very first hike today! We went to Baker’s Mountain and it was spectacular. It was my first time at this location, a little hidden gem in the Hickory area complete with a waterfall, multiple homesites, picnic areas, and a collection of walking sticks free to borrow or take. I especially recommend having a chat with the Ranger. He’s very knowledgeable and kind. He even gave me an amazing new hand carved walking stick he had stashed I his office. I’ll definitely be back on these trails soon enough. .

Heading through beautiful older country side, beautiful gloomy mountainous weather.
In Tokyo, there are over 5 million people that commute into Tokyo for work EVERY DAY!! Along with the 3 million current residents already in Tokyo makes one packed city daily! Wow!
There are two things we learned about the secluded beaches around Bali.
1. They look spectacular hidden in caves or surrounded by jungle.
2. Some of them take quite a bit of effort to get to.
But always worth it.
Where was the best secluded beach you discovered?
Would you watch the sunset in this exotic place? 🌅

The calm before the storm! Taken just an hour before we got stuck in a snowstorm en route to New Jersey.
Also, Grand Central Terminal is also one of the busiest transportation hubs in the city. If you wait a few minutes you can get a pretty clear path like this, add a long exposure and anyone who was in the photo disappears like magic ✨
