I love having the gift of healing touch. When I work with clients and place my hands on them, a whole pattern of tales and myths about this person starts to emerge. I share this knowledge with the client and as we discuss, it starts to feel like helping an old friend clean out their closet; "That outfit doesn't work for you anymore. Those shoes aren't yours."... We all end up with "soul wardrobe"; left inside of us from perceptions we held onto or perceptions left behind by others. Reiki invites those wardrobe doors to open so we can purge whats no longer needed as well as what never was. It can be a transformative experience, to have a hands on healing session. It is the total relaxation of the client as well as the practitioner that allows this space of humble humility; humiliating to be confronted with the outdated patterns we carry but humbled by the experience, when we feel safe in that vulnerability and exposure. Don't work with a healer that doesn't resonate with your soul, even if they are a family member or friend. Healing the soul requires a healing companion. Often, when matched with the appropriate healer, it can feel like a karmic soul connection. ⠀
.. Anything can become sacred if we know how to pray. The simple act of taking in oxygen begins to feel like life's deepest indulgence when you have been starved of air. Sun on your skin becomes holy sacrament. I live life like a Tantric, and with that comes the understanding that there is nothing here that is not sacred. Every shadow comes from a bright light, and every light casts a shadow. Avoiding your truth, avoiding your totality leads you to be blind to your true nature, and this represses your genius which throws shade over your consciousness. Most of us don't even realize that we have repressed pieces of our true nature. Most of us have forgotten that something else ever lived inside us. When we touch it again, all of our hidden potential wakes up and life comes rushing in. ♡♡♡ #totality#tantric#lifestyle#breathing#sacrament#indulgence#hedonist#lifespleasures#pleasureasmedicine#genius#potential#californiasummer#shadowandlight#sacred#sacredprofane#sunshine
August 21, 2017... Of all the adventures I've been on in recent months, this one made me think in ways I hadn't even considered. There's something about the sliding away of sunlight that brings mortality and God and Spirit to mind--what if this is how it ends? When the diamond ring shines and the sun returns, life's a different color from that point on. Thanks, Universe! #GreatAmericanEclipse#adventures#spirit#magic#eclipse#totality

THE VOICE OF THE HEART When we have just arrived we are in touch with all near and far away. We are one with the whole and there is no separation and thus there is no ego As there are no other moments than the now time does not exist although we already know the eternity. Without language and knowledge we still are carrying the wisdom of the whole existence inside ourselves. Without memories and plans we live every moment in totality and in total trust Without words and labels each drop of water is a wonder and part of our own hearts. #life#existence#thewhole#osho#separation#ego#eternity#wisdom#totality#wonder#heart#labels#time#moments

1000 steps to the temple. The similarities between religions and cultures fascinates me! It always feels that there is more charm and faith when you work hard to reach a temple, church, house of God... it’s like higher souls, saints, enlightened beings want us to work harder to reach a place of Truth. They all have chosen secluded places, and we come many thirsty to sip a drip of the answers they found in their seclusion... In a way, this effort needed to reach the top of the hill, a secluded Monastery, a temple, is what we call tapas, hard work needed to burn our impurities. The 1000 steps to Chamundeshwari Temple reminded me of the many holy places I visited which require effort to reach to. While these holy places are of different religions and faiths, the overall feel once you reach is always the same. Coming from a country and region of conflict, this reminds me how we are constantly looking for differences between religions, philosophies and believes, whilst the answer lies in the similarities... in the essence... which is all same, all one.
