What is Creatine Actually Used for?
Creatine a pretty cool ingredient. It’s inexpensive, it’s proven to be effective, and there are a lot of people using it to help build muscle, but do we know what it is actually doing? .
Creatine is used for 2 main reason and is typically taken before and after a workout for these reasons. .
Creatine is taken before a workout to help naturally boost energy. This is how that works. The body naturally uses ATP (adenosine triphosphate) for energy. When the body uses this ATP it breaks it down into ADP (adenosine diphosphate) a byproduct that can no longer be used the same way. Creatine brings in that missing phosphate molecule to turn ADP back into ATP. So in a way creatine recycles used energy.
Creatine is taken post workout to help your body absorb more nutrients for recovery. It is naturally a cell volumizer so will temporarily expand muscle cells. This is important because while your muscle cells have expanded they are more capable of absorbing protein. This is is why it is important to take protein and carbs post workout. Creatine by itself is not very effective at building muscle, it just assists the other nutrients.
So overall, creatine is a very cool ingredient. It’s not a miracle in a tub by any means, and will never be as effective as good carbs and protein for post workout, but it is very proven to be effective.

The brain is the most important organ in our body and is constantly active, even when we are asleep. There are many nutrients that a person can consume to enhance proper activity in the brain. Many of the nutrients are not readily available in the modern day diet. Using them via supplementation is the most logical way to ensure that you are consuming enough.⠀
One of those nutrients is phosphatidylserine which is found in the Life Priority product, PS PRIORITY. Phosphatidylserine, found in every single human cell, is critical to the maintenance of all cellular function, especially in the brain. Research also shows that it’s important for bone matrix formation, cell repair and removal by the immune system, heartbeat coordination, hormone secretion by the adrenal glands and testicular function. ⠀
Another nutrient, choline, is what the brain needs to make acetylcholine. Acetylcholine is a neurotransmitter that performs as a transmitter of all neuromuscular (nerve-to-skeletal muscle) connections. It stimulates all muscle contractions and, thus, all behavior. ⠀
When you need to think more clearly or focus on a specific task, use PS PRIORITY and MIND from Life Priority ⠀
As with using any Life Priority product, prior to consuming, please read the label and usage instructions carefully.
It’s not about the destination or end result. It’s about the process. It’s the daily grind.
Looking to change up your boring old leg reputable? Throw some of these in! It doesn’t take much weight to feel this working. 👊🏼💪🏼 @redcon1
“If it doesn’t challenge you. It doesn’t change you.” - Fred DeVito -
I’m a firm believer in the grind and grit mentality. I do not think your goals come easy, especially in the world of fitness, it’s not always fun. Granted, the results and benefits are always rewarding but at the time, it can be hell. -
It’s hell in your head when you hate what you see in the mirror. It’s hell in the state of pain and sweat when you’re in a tough workout. And it’s hell when you feel like you’re exhausting every method and you’re just not getting there (trust me, I’ve been there) But I can assure you with this, nothing worth having comes easy. -
You have to put yourself in challenging positions to further your growth, physically and mentally. For me, right now my progress has stalled so I’m implementing strategies that break my current adaptions. Our body’s are responsive an adaptable, so when you’ve reached a certain point you have to change it up and push that little bit further. It’s a shock to the system but with the new challenges, comes the new changes. -
I agree that our method of training has to be some what enjoyable, whether that be running, swimming, group training, the gym floor, however the WORK has to be put in. Whatever you’re doing, keep pushing, keep going and keep challenging yourself, eventually your results will show 💪🏼🏋🏽♀️

Annie Oakley was the one who put the "girl" in cowgirl. In the 19th century, women learned to rope and ride, but "cowboying" as a profession was primarily the job of men. In 1885, Annie Oakley was hired by Buffalo Bill Cody as a sharpshooter in his Wild West show. Later she helped to create the iconic image of the cowgirl when she appeared in a western film in 1894 👢
