Greetings from Laguna Beach, a beautiful seaside resort city located in southern Orange County, California, known for a mild year-round climate, scenic coves, environmental preservation, and a thriving artist district.
As the rain finally falls in Sonoma County providing some relief from the 18 large wildfires which began there on Oct. 8, some residents in this community are reminded of the famous 1993 Laguna Beach fire, which consumed over 16,000 acres and destroyed over 400 homes, causing $528 million in damage.
The blazes in Northern California are much worse. So far they have displaced about 100,000 people and destroyed approximately 7,700 homes. According to a new analysis, the bill for these recent fires could reach as high as $65 billion in property damage.
One piece of good news for the State is that an estimated 90% of grapes in the region had been picked from vines before the fires started. California wine delivers a total economic contribution of $57.6 billion annually to the state's economy and $114.1 billion annually to the U.S.

It's funny how everyone from family to friends to acquaintances and doubted me and ridicules my dreams but now they are the same people giving me fake praise and asking for handouts either that be a JOB or money or free dinner, trips, whatever. Success really is the best revenge.
