So the original crew, the Shenanigang, is now over. The reason is simple, we didn’t think the name fit what we represent. We want to share our love for cars with everyone and have a great time making friends and attending meets. Therefore, we changed our name to Street Society, and we started this account back up to show you everything we’re up to and to begin starting meets. The only reason why we ask people how their weekend was is so we can tell them about our weekend.
People ask me how I plan & prepare my drills & sessions.... I watch football games of the highest level and study the best players on how they move, make decisions, what skills do they use, 1st touches, awareness, I watch everything. Then I go away and plan drills from what I see 👀. Watch this incredible bit of movement & assist from @luissuarez9 & how we use this in our training👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻🔥🔥🔥 #joner1on1#fcbarcelona#Movement#SoccerDrills
ALTERNATE HIP HINGE
▪️Tall kneeling is a position I like to use for a variety of movements, including chop/lifts, pallof press, med ball work, and overhead lifts. It can also be a nice variety to hip hinging, especially if an individual:
🔹Has tighter hamstrings or neural tension
🔹Wants to feel more glutes
▪️I use the first two variations much more in a rehab setting when I want to work on movement and strength, but a patient may be experiencing a lot of neural tension or limitation when standing.
▪️The med ball throw is an advanced drill I like to use with patients and clients a like. Once the tall kneeling hinge is mastered, it’s a great progression for speed and power.
▪️A limiting factor may be poor tolerance to kneeling. Use some padding if needed.
⁉️Do you use tall kneeling in your routine? If so, what exercises?
