It always sucks coming back from a vacation and having to jump right back into things. I think that I live in my memories for like 5 days following a vacation. If you need me, I will be checking my hair in this mirror
FROZEN SUN :: I almost froze to death :: Did you ever had to jump on the spot to avoid freezing? Tell me your story!
I got up early this morning. I wanted to photograph a beautiful wintry sunrise mood by the stream. When I parked the car and got out, I noticed that it was damn frosty cold.
After finding my composition, I had to wait half an hour for the sunrise. Imagine how I hopped on the spot so it would be a bit warm.
But then finally the sun rose over the forest and let the narrow valley shine in a wonderful light. Extremely satisfied with my result, I made my way back to the car. Once there, I noticed that the panes were frozen from the inside. I had never seen anything like this before. Believe me, I was really happy when I arrived back in the warm and had a hot cup of coffee in front of me. Nonetheless, moments like these are worth the effort.

Growing up and coming to these over-looked dunes In California to ride dirt bikes I never appreciated the raw simplistic beauty it offers here. Coming back with fresh eyes really put perspective on how fortunate enough I was to see beautiful spots I never appreciated when I was younger.
