(Sound on!) After an amazing and adventurous Chinese New Year holiday, I am finding myself having one of those days where I am extremely homesick for Uganda. (Ok—maybe it’s because of all the research I’m doing on China-Africa trade and development!) The more I travel, the more convinced I become that home isn’t the place where you live your early days or even the majority of your days, but it’s the place in the world where you feel most alive. As much as I’m loving China (and Shanghai is even starting to feel a little like home after 1.5 months!) Uganda will always have the most special place in my heart. 💜 #latergram#reminiscing#africa#uganda#home#travel#safari
This is the lorry we have been using! Its so amazing how it can fit so much in it!! Packing the camp (which includes at least 12 tents, a dinning hall, all our luggage, equipment and medicine in it! Oh and let’s not forget the 21 people in it!!) #emmaorg#emmakenya2018#cool#lorry#camp#safari#kenya#kijiado
