6.5 mile run did my heart some good! ☀️
20 days until my 1st half of 2018, state #21, and road race #46. I am NERVOUS, nervous I will struggle, it will be awful (awfully cold), and I will want to quit. Why? Because I am not prepared. BUT that doesn’t mean I’m going to give up and not go. I’m going to go run in Michigan, try my best not to fall in the snow 😆, and to have a blast! It will be a trip full of ADVENTURES! (Possibly dog sledding! Any good suggestions for dog sledding in Grand Rapids?)

No better way to start the second week of the New Year and first week of a new semester than running a ~10.5 mile course, ice skating for the first time in years, quality time with roommates, and a nice, hot magnesium sulfate bubble bath after the race...also lots of food 😋 maybe there are better ways for others but I’m happy with my day 😊 #newyear#newyearsameme but with #newgoals#runninggainstobemade#raceday so excited for spring and summer #runningseason !!! 💙
Busted out these bad boys yesterday and, man - it had been too long! Made it a little over two miles, smiling the whole freakin time. Anyone else think Fall is the BEST season for running?! 🍁
