First run since last week not fast about 33 mins - taking it easy as last week my shin was not good! No pain 👌🏽so the rest has obviously done it good - did some weights, circuits & HIIT Over the last week minus jumping about too much!! over trained for tough mudder last year & had the same ache in my old #stressfracture area hoping it’s normal to get a bit of an ache!!! It’s not painful at all. Anyway 5k done - back to the training plan but cutting back on the runs, & literally just following the plan (on other days it’s good old @davinamccall fit in five) #running#training#runningproblems#overtraining#injury#eveningrun
I haven't posted any #running pix lately because I am still working to recover from plantar fascia. I'm doing everything I should be, but because my heels had gotten so bad, the healing process has been excruciatingly slow. This was supposed to be a long run today but 0.7 miles into the run my shins began to burn soooo bad I decided to make it a short one. I tried stretching them out but nope legs still felt VERY heavy ànd so sore. And my asthma has decided to play up with the cold weather again. 😑 Not happy at all. Next week I hope for a better week of running. Not every run will be a good one. Must remind myself that. #runningproblems#running

Time for a serious talk..... I ran my last #halfmarathon in April, 2016. During that race I #hitawall at mile 8 and even though I powered through the remainder of the race and finished I haven't been in the same mindset since. It is so frustrating to struggle with 2 miles as if it were 13. I began #running in 2012 and felt as if I got better and better each #run but the last 18 months have been so hard.
