DrC post: Old habits die hard. I still enjoy a quick run 1-2 times a week- this coming from a former runner who ran 6 times weekly. Not my old pace, but I’m happy with it 😊
#ReflectiveMoment : Enjoy some of your old passions every now and again. Even if that passion isn’t quite the same, you’ll still get a little sense of how great it was ❤️ #reminiscing#marathondays#runningintotheweekend

Running from work and into the weekend like Saga, the gorgeous German Short Haired Pointer. Happy Friday everyone! 📸: @saga_the_black_gsp
Nice day for it....If you're a duck!! 🐥
Had a much needed rest day yesterday after running mostly off road this week (my knees deffo needed it) so just a steady 3 miles with the boy and my 🐶to kick off Christmas weekend!! 🎄🎅🏼🎄 Happy Friday everyone!
This was one of those easy run days where I needed a tank top running towards the east and the long sleeved shirt heading towards the west! Such bi-polar weather we are having here in CO!
So, if you've been following me for awhile, you know that after the St. George Marathon on Oct, I decided to try and work on my shorter speed (which is my most uncomfortable distance). ➰
I've done two 5K races and was supposed to do another one in Dec. However, the one that I had my heart set on was LAST Saturday, and I didn't end up doing it because I was out of town with friends. I had an alternate one that I was planning on doing tomorrow, but just yesterday decided not to. It's in Denver and a large one. I do not like big races or a lot of people/traffic. It gets me anxious. So, I've got one on Jan 1st or Jan 13th that are smaller, more local races that I can do. I really need a faster official 5K time because I know I can do it! ➰
Can anyone else relate to me with liking the more low key smaller races?
More often that not, winter training runs take the most dedication. Cozy indoors always seem to be more appealing than bearing the elements and running in subzero temps. But today, with some fresh snow and fresh feeling legs, I couldn't help but #lovetherun. The sunset also helped make the cold wind along the water feel much more bearable #8milesoftherapy#runningintotheweekend#TGIF#runningBoston 🏃🏼👟
