Week 46 complete. With 6 weeks left this was nothing more than a disappointingly slightly below average week. I was travelling for nearly an entire day during the week and have been somewhat jet lagged, so I really need to use this week to push on, especially now I'm signed up for the Rotterdam marathon in April!
Happy Monday to you! This was yesterday's sunrise - it seemed an appropriate picture to start a new week 😃
😶 #kategonetonature

And I know. I suffered post natal depression after the birth of my first son 😢. It was undiagnosed for some time. When I eventually dragged myself to my Doctor (at the time), he straight up prescribed me antidepressants. I decided to look into alternatives and somehow managed to start exercising again 🏊♀️🏃🏼♀️. That first step put me onto a long and hard path to recovery, and I haven't stopped since 🙏. I've finally completed my Run Brave Challenge 🦋and have completed my 10km virtual run (twice yippee 😜!!!) and have this gorgeous medal 🥇 (that incidentally matches my bikes!!) to remind me to embrace life, to run brave ❤️. #runbrave#torunistolive#wearyourcourage#strongwomen

I took two weeks off from running to let my Achilles heal. I did my first run back this morning and to be honest, it was really hard. Everything felt stiff and strained. My Achilles, which had been pain free for the past few days, became irritated once again and I’m really discouraged. I hate to be such a downer, especially since I was so excited to run again. Back to the pool tomorrow.
