Spent the first part of the morning with coffee in bed watching the NYC half marathon before heading out for an easy 6 miles to wrap up week 7 of training.
Not going to lie, watching the half this morning got me wishing I was running a race sooner than the end of May. Patience, patience, patience.
W7D7 Ann Arbor Half Training: 6 recovery miles + mobility
Back again. #flatrunner heading to Madison this morning for a new #169towns and a 5 mile race (which I will be using a workout).
A little colder this morning so a @skirtsports & unpictured scarf and gloves.
Very tough conditions for race 5 of the @2xutriathlonseries , strong winds made the whole day hard but was happy to come home strong on the run. I’ve had a great season, time for a bit of a rest before a hard training load kicks in again. Thanks to all the friends and family, and the team @hydraplay for all your help. #gohardandgohome#hydraplay
Oh the weather outside is frightful
But the fire 🔥 is so delightful
Since we've no place to go
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow ❄️❄️❄️

It wasn't my best run after having too much nachos for lunch!
It was a great mind clearing run though, settled somw of my thoughts and emotions and now ready to tackle a new week.

“Wanaka, a resort town on New Zealand's South Island, is set on the southern end of its namesake lake with views of snowcapped mountains. It's the gateway to the Southern Alps' Mount Aspiring National Park, a wilderness of glaciers, beech forests and alpine lakes. Treble Cone and Cardrona ski resorts are near the park. Just outside the town is the outdoor maze and sculpture gallery of Puzzling World.” - Wiki

Back from the 💀 💀 💀. 15 miles along the James today, awesome day for a run. Too bad I made a #rookiemistake and forgot to change into my running socks... HUGE blister, is it bad the only thing I’m useful for now is sitting on the couch watching March Madness with a beer?

Just chasing the sunset 🌅 after a long day of car shopping. My car was totaled 2 weeks ago 😭 So this is a perfect stress reliever, running. I’m going to enjoy this weather as long as I can before it turns 30 degrees again 😉 #tennesseeweather#tennessee
This. This was probably the hardest six miles I have ever ran. My legs simply did not want to move. I seriously considered walking the entire last mile. I’m not entirely sure what was up, but I’ll just blame it on legs still be tired from last week’s race 🤷🏼♀️ It’s a good thing I truly don’t care about my pace during my training runs, otherwise I’d be pretty upset with this 😂 Right now, I am simply building mileage and working on motivating myself to get it done. Eventually, when I have a decent base built up, I’ll begin to look at / care more about my pace. At this point in time, I’m just glad I completed six miles, especially considering how hard it was today 😩
Smiling because I’m glad that’s over!😝2 miles up, 10x800 with 400 recovery, c/d to 11 miles.🏃🏻♀️I wanted to quit after 5 of them🙈but, kept pushing though! Your body can do it, it’s your mind you have to convince!
Decided to wait until after work to get my run in.🏃🏻♀️It was too dark in the morning and I didn’t feel like doing the treadmill🤷🏻♀️so I went back to bed! Easy miles with some strides tonight and some wind!
Half of the time I was trying to fight through the 💨 and the other half getting smacked in the face by my hair!😂
