Rob did some rigging today #roberttayloraerialcoach We put new carabiners & fly wire (ours are coated so they feel smooth when touching) we are 12 feet, thinking of going 11’9” next to try for fun. Put up new pulleys & safety lines & all the other safety line apparatus/hardware (I hate the names of rigging stuff cuz I never remember it). Swivels, carabiners, pulleys.... He also rigged attachment points for the cloudswing on the catch crane bar & safety lines on the catch crane. We are going to practice bungee Trapeze, cloudswing & swinging Trapeze there soon. This week’s forecast is rain, rain & rain. #rigging#aerialrigging#safetyfirst

I'm testing out a mouth rig idea on the character I'm making with ma boi @jojoemmet 😎
The main goal was to make a functional mouth rig that has controllers that travel along the shape of the mouth🤔 I also wanted them to influence eachothers postion, so curves the controllers form would match the shape of the mouth, keeping the behavior predictable🤓
It's gonna take a lot of tweaking on the skin weights though😂 it's only using joints right now but I plan to add corrective shapes to push it further 😥
Thank you so much to @jessamaeharris of @bluerivertable who popped over today to discuss boat cookers, which lead me down memory lane to when we had to replace Eda's trusty oven a year or so ago, and the obituary that was written about it....
This week we said goodbye to an old and dear friend. The invaluable, unsung hero of the Eda crew that we knew affectionately as Cannon Hotpoint CH60GPXF.
With over 6 years of unwavering service, feeding 11 people three meals a day for 24 weeks a year, we estimate that our trusty Cannon gas oven had cooked roughly 30,000 plates of food, not including puddings, cakes and bread. CH60GPXF has been the faithful side kick of at least 5 Eda cooks, and countless other relief crew.
Your unparalleled ability to have your shelves stacked on a bias when Eda heels over, and your slightly over the top fire power means that, together, we have seen off challenging cooking conditions with aplomb. Tacking mid soufflé, exploding cheesecakes, simultaneously cooking five trays of roast dinner, being routinely showered with sea water, and churning out bread loaves and sweet treats by the thousands, have all been a piece of cake with you. (literally) You Laughed in the face of being run full chat, day in. I will miss your rust speckled patina, your temperamental double burner, and your wobbly door handle.
CH60GPXF we salute you. You were the best oven a cook could ask for. Now that your flame has gone out for good may you rest happily where you belong, in the Galley in the sky. 💙
Proud to bring vertical dance to every corner of the globe. 😊

Awesome pic from @tarzan_the_treeman running his Reecoil BIG-BOSS.
Obviously this was his perfect gear selection for St Patricks Day(his namesake).
Go give Patrick a follow. He posts some awesome climbing pics.
Thanks for the pic Patrick!! 😎👍
Beautiful isn’t it? The @harken_ind#lokhead winch is a pretty sweet piece of machinery. Along with being a lightweight alternative to a haul system (It has a Working Load Limit or Maximum Rated Load of 500 kg or 1102lb) The Lokhead is incredibly compatible with #tripods and other Artificial High Directionals such as #ginpoles , as It comes equipped with a mounting plate, tripod adapter, and winch handle, for easy and efficient use. We partnered with @harken_inc@harken_ind and @elevatedsafety to create an instructional course on how, why, and when to use this awesome product. There are dozens of ways to implement winches within rescue and rigging scenarios, and we encourage you to check it out. Find the course on the courses page of rigginglabacademy.com (Link in bio)
And speaking of @harken_ind and @elevatedsafety, who’s going to #sprat in #chicago? They’ve partnered up to host this years conference and we’re excited to see what they’ve done.
