Finishing up the foot of a textured pitcher. These are not easy to trim in the typical way, so I add this hexagon foot to add some interest to the bottom of the form and catch some of the glaze. Enjoy!!
Happy Nowruz (Persian new year)! Here is a ‘Haft Seen’ which is a traditional table setting consisting of 7 items that all start with the letter S - each item signifying an important element relating to good health and fortune for the new year. This particular Haft Seen is using all piece from Koozeh Pottery to hold the 7 items! 💕🌷

Loving how the washi tape resists the glaze and makes those lines so fresh and so clean 👌
Welcome to my new and improved pottery studio! My awesome husband @esbiomorph helped me by scraping off all the old tile and stickiness and repainting the floor so it will be easy to clean. I am not potting in the basement, which has its own bathroom and utility sink. A lot more space and now @esbiomorph and I can hang out even more. #pottery#potterystudio#creativecouples#clay#claylove
We love the subtle pattern and cool earth tones of our cup from @taliainko! She’s taken over our IG Story today and is giving us a unique look into her production process. Check out our story to learn more!
Vandaag werd een eerste deel van de collectie gefotografeerd! Yay! Binnenkort is alles te koop in onze webshop & op ons lanceringsfeestje! Spannend! Zijn jullie benieuwd? Wie wil komen? ✨ #rondklei

STUDIO FURNITURE GRATITUDE POST:
@planeanddaisey we love our stools! As does every person that steps foot in our studio.
These stools inspire anyone who is a little apprehensive about throwing to sit and give it a go!
The cabinet of work is looking fantastic @318ceramics this week, artists and students 💗

Got some impromptu (read: no makeup, but hey! still wearing a cute shirt!) studio portraits taken, so I thought now might be a good time to re-introduce the person behind this account, as well as the other amazing women that make the Honeycomb Studio magic happen. Hi 👋
I’m Courtney and I’m the owner/founder behind Honeycomb Studio. 4 years ago (5?), I quit my very established fundraising career to renovate a rat trap of a garage in my Atlanta backyard and start a ceramics studio. Always a solid career plan, right? 🙄💪 With the help of a very supportive/patient partner (big shout out to my awesome husband!) , some very key people in the studio with me, lots of trial and error, hard effing work, and lots of luck Honeycomb Studio continues to thrive and is my full time gig. Right now, I have a growing studio, a new tableware line, new products to launch, a hilarious 🌪 of a 2.5 year old (Leo 🦁 ) and a happy little clam of a 1 year old (Lil 🐛). So basically right now my life is just trying not to be too late to work, and keeping babies alive - anything beyond that is icing on the cake. Anyone have any questions for me? Want to introduce yourself? I would love that! I’m also looking forward to sharing a bit more this week about the other women in the studio with me, because I sure as hell am not doing this alone. | thanks for the snap, @wildgrainphotography
Happy spring equinox everyone! Heads up: #giveaway happening tomorrow in celebration of making it through this slog of a winter. I don’t mind Oregon weather but all the illness has sure been a drag. Hoping for healthier sunnier days ahead.
This large sgraffito plate was commissioned as a wedding gift and is currently drying out before firing. I thought I'd taken a video of me carving this one. It turns out I took a video of the back of my head. What a plonker. I'll see if I can do a bit better on the next one!
Thanks to all of you who've entered my competition so far. If you'd like to win a £30 voucher to spend in my webshop and you already own one of my pieces you can enter by:
• Post a photograph that includes your Hilda Carr Pottery item to your grid. • Tag me in the photo • Use the hashtag #lovehildacarrpottery
You have until 9pm on Saturday 24th March, UK time to enter.

One of the best features of my 3” succulent planters are the perfect fit for standard potted plants. These have been popular for the those who either kill plants quickly or like an easy to execute gift.
