Done with the second design.. I’m having extra time for aside projects, that “I never have time for” so.. seems right to say the time is now. Lots of fun so far, and the happiness when you see the results of your ideas in your hands. I haven’t done any kind of engraving and/or printing in at least 6 years. Feels good to be back!
Here a little video of the process, some results, and the first step mistake 😅 #sacredheart#linocut#tryfailtryagain
3.18.18 // someone recently told me @saltandstraw was all hype. Well, I’m here to say, they were so wrong. After letting me try all the flavors I wanted [honey lavender, olive oil, pear blue cheese and the pot of gold] I settled on the Elvis Presley. It’s a vegan banana coconut milk ice cream with some kind of raspberry jam and chunks of peanut butter. It was so so good!
Take a virtual hard hat tour of #PortlandState’s upcoming Viking Pavilion for a glimpse of the completed Stoller Court and progress made on the wooden hull of a Viking ship that will greet students and guests as they enter the new, state-of-the-art pavilion. It’s a great time to be a Viking!
Found this very inviting nest in a yard near my house. I think I’ll move in. Seriously, if I didn’t feel kind of self conscious I would have laid in here looking at the sky for the evening. This one is in a kind of high human traffic area though. I would of course prefer one in a tree hidden by leaves. And I would like to be able to fly up into it. This one on the lawn next to the sidewalk was pretty fun too though. It’s a neat project! You can check it out at #thenestproject#owlsalon#pdx#springtime#iloveportland
Ain’t trying to throw no shade!! Y’all post some of the illest cuts on ig and with that being said, I bite a lot of styles. Some of y’all have the pleasure of cutting heads for a hour and even 45 min. After consultation, client showing 10 min late, we got 30 to 20 min to cut the client.. if you find flaws I my cut it’s mos definitely because of time constraints!!

Location: #SteensMountain, 77 miles south of Burns.
The mountain has a road to its 9,733-foot summit, the highest road in Oregon, so it's not like you need to backpack to see the surrounding area. This 50-mile long, north-south mountain was created 5-7 million years ago by faulting and uplift along its eastern edge, raising the massive basalt block 5,000’ above the Alvord Basin to the east. The Ice Age then brought glaciers, gouging out several 2,000’-deep, U-shaped canyons. The High Steens escarpment — over 9,000’ high, often snow-covered and rising sharply above the arid, alkaline #AlvordDesert — provides some of the most dramatic scenery in Oregon. Along with this higher elevation comes higher precipitation, averaging over 40 inches per year at the summit, and spawning numerous rivers and streams flowing into the desert below.
