Was feeling salty after last weekend when I couldn’t even budge 518 off the ground so decided to do a last minute “deadlift demo” at an unsanctioned meet at my friends gym today. Weight felt light on my hands but ripped pretty bad at the top. I can finally go to sleep knowing I left it ALL on the platform. I’m officially ready to move on from this year and this last prep, take some time off competition prep and bring a stronger package to the platform in 2018. Let’s do this.
➡️➡️➡️➡️➡️➡️➡️➡️➡️ Been fortunate enough to work with in excess of 1000 clients in a one-on-one basis over the course of the ten years I’ve been a coach. Here are a few who have changed their lives.
It doesn’t matter if you don’t know where to start. Most people don’t. I didn’t, and my clients didn’t either. But you do need to actually make a start. Eat less, move more, or incorporate a combination of both.
You don’t need the perfect meal plan, the most beast-mode training program, the perfect time in your life, or to spend thousands of dollars on supplements every month. You don’t even need a trainer - all these things can help, a lot even, but they aren’t imperative to succeed.
You are in control of your own outcome. You don’t have to choose to continue living beneath your means & your full potential. You don’t need to live carrying excess weight if you don’t want to. You don’t need to live being weaker, smaller, less confident or more anxious than you need to be.
You’re not alone - so many people, including me, have been where you might be right now, feeling more lost than ever, or even just a little confused. But you will always have the power to change that. Getting bitter about a lack of progress isn't an acceptable response, it's an ignorant one. You have the power to alter your outcome. You can do something about it.
If you’re lost or looking for direction, register for the HyperDBS FREE Trial (link in bio). It gives you all the tools you need to build more muscle, burn more fat & live more life. Life is too short to not be the most confident version of yourself. If you’re ready to truly step it up, then head to nickcheadlefitness.com/clients & hear the stories of my most successful clients. There’s no reason you can’t change your life too. #LifestyleGains#Gains#Transformation
⚠️GIRLS⚠️ The realities of PHOTOSHOP🙄
Something that's always bothered me is the way social media can 1: take over some people's lives to the extent they nearly fool themselves into how they think they look or feel anxious when it comes to being seen in the flesh and 2: the levels of inadequacy some/a lot of people (not just women) feel from looking at "perfect" images day in day out! Nobody's level of self worth or idea of the "perfect body" should be based on comparisons they draw from comparing themselves with people who don't even look in real life like they do in their photos. No wonder so many suffer from poor body confidence or feelings of inadequacy, especially the generation that are growing up barely having known life before smartphones. I am brutal with technology, but even I, in the space of 5 minutes while lying in bed, managed to download a free app that allowed me to completely change my figure and actually do so. A few drags of my finger and suddenly I had a slimmer waist and arms, big chunky peach, curvier quads and hamstrings and bigger boobs. Picture on the left I posted a few days ago, on the right well see for yourselves. Obviously could have been photoshopped better but the purpose of doing so was to show the difference editing can make without people necessarily picking up on it. Don't be fooled by what you see on social media!
