My first contest prep is really going well and I can honestly say the biggest difference I’ve made is eating whole nutrient dense foods! The guy in the first picture had an unhealthy obsession with burgers because all I saw in foods were the macros. Not all foods are created equally and as bioavailable to your digestive system. I have been really on top of what enters my body and for the first time in my life eating enough vegetables on a consistent bases! I’m not starving and I feel amazing (minus the low carb days)
Only a 10lb difference between photos (lighter in more recent pictures)
4 more weeks to shown you what I can achieve for a drug tested competition.
Rainy days and a sleepy puppy ❤️
There is something about rainy days that really allow me to crank out some good solid work. I think it’s because I know I am not missing out on adventures in beautiful weather while I sit behind the computer.
I guess I have beautiful weather fomo ☀️ #designyourday#workandplay
Food should be enjoyed for it's own qualities and it's positive social influence in our lives and not demonized or seen as a reward, a science or a PUNISHER. .
🍌Food and eating is about health and happiness, the two are not seperate. In part, our happiness depends on our eating habits and choices. We should be able to freely choose foods we wish to eat, yet have an almost unconscious appreciation for HOW MUCH we need and what foods we need.
🍗It sustains us, it IS US.
🧀But so few of us recognize the loss of connection between the food we eat and the body cues of hunger and satiety. Hence the ever increasing overweight population - the problem isn't the food. We just EAT TOO MUCH of it!
🍕My "old school" and simplistic approach: EVERYTHING IN MODERATION. .
🥓We should approach every single bite in a relaxed manner. .
🍫My old man has done this his whole life. He taught me this. He's almost 82 and still going strong. Loves his chocolate, eats it everyday - moderately!!
Wouldn't even know what "calorie counting means. "What the fuck is a calorie"? He would ask.
🍝This is totally my opinion; it works for me, my family and my clients. And at the end of the day, we're happy.
I've experimented with restrictive diets and calorie counting in the past, didn't enjoy it.
🍔But if you feel restrictive dieting is the answer, study it hard. Then ask yourself this:
Is it sustainable?
And I don't mean for the 6, 8, 12 weeks it goes for. I mean for the long haul.
If the answer is no, then why do it?.
🍩P.S..... Doughnuts are fuckin awesome.
Sometimes you just need to escape from it all and take a ride. Life can get crazy but you gotta remember to feed your soul and do what makes you happy.. or what is just good ol fun! Thanks @rideonewheel & @djiglobal for making awesome toys. And props to the homie @jatzkiboy for flying 🛸 and all the helpful tips. Thanks bro!😛🏄♂️💨🌴
