How's your Lent going? Have you been crushing it - consistently remembering your prayer, fasting and alms giving? Or, like me, do you feel like you are stumbling through, trying your hardest, and offering up those struggles to our merciful Creator? It's the beginning of week 5, and I've got to admit, I'm pretty tempted to just forget about those sacrifices I've had the most difficulty adhering to and focus on the one's I have been successful with. But that's not what it's about. Lent is meant to be a struggle. The road to Calvary is not an easy one. But as Mother Teresa says, "We aren't called to be successful, but faithful." So, if you find yourself in a slump as Holy Friday approaches and we get nearer to the darkness of the crucifixion, join me in pushing through and focusing on the Light at the end of the tunnel - the Resurrection. Furthest run (by 0.01 miles 😂😂) today was a nice long run although a lot of it was spent walking talking to my brother and catching him up on life/talking about the future which was nice ☺️✨ need to keep upping the miles to try and hit 13 but slowly and steadily as I’m so very injury prone
