The soul of a city consists of souls of its inhabitants. Their minds, their passions, their emotions. Undoubtly they influence the city's landscape, its atmosphere and image. The variety of cultures, religions and traditions makes up diverse images of many different cities, giving each of them a very individual soul. Such an individual soul is to be found in Seoul - the capital city of South Korea.
The begginings of creation of the soul of Seoul are set thousands of years ago, from where it goes through all the stormy times of Korea's development - a country severly experienced by world's turbulent history. This nation of a unique ethnical homogeneity lasts faithful to its traditions despite numerous attempts of foreign aggressors to gain domination over the Korean Penninsula. It lasts opening itself to the world, assimilating the world's diversity and sharing proper legacy.
The soul of Seoul, as a reflection of the whole country, every day is full of hard work, some fantasy in the spare time, contemplation over history, respect for traditions, ambitions for the future. Going deep inside we can absorb this wealth, but also share with it the souls of the cities we come from. And the soul of Seoul seems to just be waiting for that...
