Let’s admit it, Sunday was created to stay cozy, relaxed and a tiny bit lazy.

Prioritizing in practice, not just in theory, has made our lives so much better. Saying no to the superfluous, yes to enjoying the little things in life that make us happy, to nature, to being creative with like-minded people, to spending quality time with friends, and to each other. Yay for that!

Yesterday I got the huge blessing of being a lead wedding photographer for the first time! It was such a sweet day for the most wonderful and welcoming couple and I can’t wait to do this again!
Just got home from an amazing work trip to San Diego and am tired, but incredibly thankful for the opportunity to be doing this for a living. Definitely was tested in my photography skills by photographing a corporate event, an automotive gig, and an engagement shoot. Pictured here are Shiella & Peter who showed me nothing but love and amazing food 🙌🏼
„Climb the mountains and get their good tidings. Nature's peace will flow into you as sunshine flows into trees. The winds will blow their own freshness into you, and the storms their energy, while cares will drop away from you like the leaves of Autumn.“
John Muir, The Mountains of California
The last days had been so crazy! Can’t be more thankful that life is always gifting me with such heart filling moments, love and amazing lovestories. This weekend we were allowed to document a very special wedding of two brides surrounded by the mountains. The moment I captured the love between two women. Thank you @herzliebtherz for your trust, your words and your beautiful soul! Can’t be more thankful that life already gifted us with so many beautiful moments! Hope you are enjoying your time with your wifey! Can’t wait to share some photos. #mountaintop#mountainwedding#samesexmarriage#loveislove#wedding
Happy St. Patrick’s Day! It was certainly a great day filled with toasts and cheers, drinks, and good people! Heard some great quotes today, but my favorite was “May you never want as long as you live and you live as long as you want.” Cheers! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

To say this week in Yosemite has been awesome would be an understatement. The weather is terrible and I’m absolutely loving it. Falling asleep to the sound of rain on the van, watching the fog roll through the valley at sunset and sunrise (watch my story for some time lapses), wandering new pathways through the dripping forest...I’m so happy right now. Yosemite in the winter is my favorite. We had so much fun with Gabriella and Aaron’s engagement photos on Monday and are looking forward to a few elopements in the next couple of days! I am so thankful I get to work and play in the best place on earth.

HOW TO HAVE A WEDDING WITHOUT A VENUE. As you’ve probably noticed, most of the weddings we’re part of don’t happen at traditional venues. We help so many couples plan their weddings in less-than-traditional places, so we decided to put a few tips into a blog post. Is there a special place in a National Park that you and your partner love? Why not get married there?
Link in bio for some encouragement that you can totally have your wedding at that campground you love. Or that pass above treeline. Or your best friend’s backyard.
Lorilee + Ivan came all the way from Texas to elope in Yosemite National Park. We started their day with a snowy first look, explored around the valley, grabbed lunch in the village, and then they exchanged vows in El Cap Meadow just as it started to snow again. Ivan’s brother officiated their ceremony and their sister-in-law stood by as a witness. Afterwards we all celebrated with cake and champagne and of course, more portraits...it was the perfect elopement day and I can’t wait to share more!
