As some will know I am running the @londonmarathon this year and I have chosen to run to help raise money for @dogsforgood_uk. 2 hrs in the sunshine done 💪🏼 Warmed up on the rowing machine and by skipping before starting to work upper body 👊🏼 Really good session and feeling good, now shower before making lunch 😝

Happy Tuesday 👋🏽 Testing out my new @underarmour yoga mat with a little home workout this morning (and a 10kg kettlebell I bought nearly two years ago in Leeds and carried to London on the train just because it was £7 in Lidl and I couldn’t bear the thought of missing out on a good deal 😅 The REGRET after 3 hours of travelling...) Today is #InternationalDayofHappiness and research has proven that just 20 mins of exercise can improve your mood and how you feel for up to 12 hours.
I used to exercise as a chore and for aesthetic reasons, now I exercise to de-stress and because I love it. It’s become part of my daily routine and I wouldn’t change that.
The above photo was taken when I finally smashed 50 mins for 10K in 2015, it really is the little things in life that can sometimes mean the most 💖🙌🏼🏃🏼♀️
My really novel two cents on #InternationalDayOfHappiness? DO MORE OF WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY. Run, sleep, eat, dance, travel, read, cook, sing, laugh. Or do absolutely none of the above. Whatever makes you happiest. 💛

T R A I N I N G S U P D A T E 😊💪🏼 Der Schnee ist so gut wie komplett weg, aber dafür ist es trotzdem noch soo 👌🏼 kalt und dazu windig 😝 nichtsdestotrotz ist #sundayrunday angesagt. 17 km bin ich eben draußen gewesen und es hat sich so gut angefühlt ☺️ Die Sonne schien immer mal wieder, die Vögel haben gezwitschert, es wird langsam Frühling ☀️🌿🐦 und das Knie hat auch mitgemacht. Also alles so wie es soll. Warst du heute schon draußen? Wenn nein, dann ist jetzt deine Chance 😉🙌🏼 Sport ist me time und das Wochenende gehört dir!
