My business is almost legal!!! Double tap to clap for @empoweredclubhouse!
Showed up for a lunch party today and was handed an envelop, sent to me by my corporate lawyer. Totally wasn't expecting this so talk about a surprise. Inside it, the final step towards making Empowered Clubhouse a legalized business -- my corporate papers all typed up and ready to go! It's a massive stack of papers that need a massive amount of signatures (as marked by all those yellow tabs) but this IS happening... am so excited!!!
Shadowboxing is like meditation for Danny - a way to escape the worries, fears, and personal battles with #CysticFibrosis. ⠀
This shot is a single take (no camera tricks) of how fast this man moves...with just 50% lung capacity.

I thought I would give everyone an update on my foot. I’ve been in a boot for about a month, got a cortisone shot in my peroneal tendon, and started physical therapy last week. As you can see from this picture my calf has deflated a lot, but it will come back bigger and better than before💪🏻
škatuľkový obed na zajtra🌽
máme totiž s tímom cestovný deň✈️🏀letíme na Final four EEWBL do Rigy. Zvykneme si baby so sebou brávať studený obed, aby sme sa vyhli prílišnému zapchávaniu sa letiskovými pečivami. Väčšinou sú to obyč šaláty alebo ich cestovinové variácie. Ja som si narýchlo uvarila špaldový bulgur a zmiešala ho s kukuricou, pečenou repou, cherry paradajkami a oliváčom✨ #healthyfood#healthychoices#dnesjem#foodie#lifeofanathlete

"Breathing with #CysticFibrosis is like swimming under water - you want to come up for the air - but you can't. You have to keep swimming, and everything gets real...uncomfortable isn't even the word." - Danny.⠀
This stylized shoot showcases a battle just beneath the surface. A battle people with CF are fighting that none of us can see, but they're fighting every. Single. Day.⠀
I hope this documentary can make a difference. Follow for production updates as we go!⠀
Special thanks to @lfhsnewmedia for making this shoot possible.⠀

Wanneer de coach enkel een goedkeurend knikje geeft na de training weet je dat de vorm langzaam terug begint te komen. #teamthuijs#tbt
Been there, done that... double tap if you're probably going to do that tomorrow.
Wait, tomorrow's Friday. You've had a long week. Go eat that donut, girl. Tell your trainer that our Coach Amy said it's okay. One donut isn't going to make you fat just like one salad isn't going to make you skinny.
Learn to relax a bit.
Everything in moderation!
Have a break, have a Kit Kat...?!
Park benches designed to look like one big chocolate bar, placed in a park that's flooded with boot campers, joggers and people working out on the daily. I feel like someone somewhere is either laughing at us, like this is a sick joke, or they're trying to help us up our willpower.

Chin up, beautiful... unless you're boxing, then chin down. •
Double tap if you sometimes need to give yourself a little pep talk. I think we all need one every once in awhile, it's true. I definitely do. We're all human. •
So to that person reading this, I know you're tired. I know you're fed up. You're close to breaking but there's strength within you even when you feel weak. Grow through what you go through and you'll only become stronger. Trust me. •
I feel ya, I really do. •
Sometimes you just have to embrace the suck, I did yesterday, and that's okay but now it's a new day. Don't get stuck in the suck. Put some gangsta rap on, pull up your big girl panties, kiss a puppy, and pour yourself another cup of coffee. You got this.

If food is fuel than coffee is the starter fluid for the morning impaired, like me. •
Drip coffee courtesy of @supremediet. It takes a little longer but it tastes a lot stronger. Strong is good. Strong is VERY good.
My Power Park Workout
This is the workout I created for myself for this week. I’ll be doing it in the park 3 or 4 days (really depends on the coffee... or lack there of it).
Side walk plank with push-ups
Narrow to sumo squat jumps
Prisoner jump squats •
Tricep dips with lifted leg (alternate at half point)
Bench jumps •
In & out plank walk
I did 3 sets for each superset before moving on to the next superset and I kept my rest periods in between sets and supersets short.
For exercises I needed to count for, like the inch worms and prisoner jump squats, I did 20 reps. Tricep dips I did 40 but after 20 I switched legs.
I used my agility ladder, it has 7 squares in it. For each exercise that I performed using the ladder, I went back and forth on it, 2 laps, so I covered 14 squares.
Sometimes you just have to fight for what you want like you're the third monkey trying to get on that damn boat -- Noah's ark.

Because sometimes you just want to get nasty... GYM NASTY HAPPY. •
Nasty sweaty, exhausted but happy about being constantly challenged, constantly dedicated and self motivated to constantly push myself.
Consistency is key.
Repeat after me: There is NO diet that is better than the other.•
My pet peeve is when such fit bod-peeps claim this diet or that diet to be superior!!! You shouldn’t be “dieting”, you should be creating a lifestyle. Don’t go for quick fixes, look for an eating style you can sustain. If you honestly think you’re going to drink blended meals for the rest of your life, then by all means jump on that bandwagon, but don’t be surprised if you fall off. Been there, done that, NOT doing that again. That was the quickest way I found to kill my social life, wow. •
Keto, Paleo, Vegetarian, Vegan, Raw, Intermittent Fasting… these are ways of eating; lifestyles. •
Beverly Hills Diet, The Hollywood Diet, Cabbage Soup Diet, Grapefruit Diet,… these are bandaids. •
We are all different which only makes sense that so should our diets. What works for me may not work for you. Our bodies require different calorie counts and nutritional needs. Take for example Keto. I know people who lost mad weight on it but you know what happened to me?! I gained 15lbs and lost my sanity and energy. I was craving carbs like a pregnant woman carrying triplets -- ridiculous! •
Keto obviously didn’t work for me but that’s not to say it doesn’t work for everyone. Now I eat Supreme Diet, Active. It’s a more user-friendly version of Keto. I get to eat my carbs and it meets my nutritional needs as an active athlete. •
My first and foremost piece of advice for anyone looking to clean up their eating would be to simply figure out what calorie count you need in the first place. My next piece of advice would be to eat REAL FOOD. Whether it's fast food, canned goods, or whatnot, people eat so much processed stuff. Your body doesn't know how to process that crap!!! Stop it! •
I don’t eat anything that comes from a can or that has an expiry date longer than a week, with the exception of minor things, like condaments (ie. mustard). So here’s what I ate today for lunch -- beef sukiyaki and mushroom salpicao with mashed sweet potato. •
It’s NOT blended.
It’s NOT processed.
And if I keep it in my fridge for more than a few days it goes bad because it's REAL FOOD and real food dies.
