✔️kitchen, dining room, living room and front entrance organized. 👊🏻 ⠀
✔️floors swept ⠀
✔️supper almost ready for my sweet boys ❤️⠀
Now time to change and head out for girls night out with some of my favourite people!! ✌🏻😘 ⠀
I get a lot of questions (like a lottttt of questions) about my health journey + how long I’ve been eating this way + how I got started + if I work out.
# •It’s definitely a journey •9 years at about 80% (sometimes 98% for months, others 50% for months)
•Slowly and making it way too complicated
My faves are crossfit and running. I’ve added in a little hot yoga. I have been known to swing a tennis racket and chase a ball around the court on Sundays. And this past year, on my birthday, I challenged myself to take any opportunity to try a new fitness endeavor. Several kinds of yoga (including goat 🐐 yoga), a rowing class and probably my fave new one, aerial dance.
But the crossfit style workouts still have my heart and I love how I can improvise at home or on the road with little or no equipment! • •
Everything you do impacts how you feel - both good and bad.
Our daily life is really a bunch of choices we make, and these choices impact the rest of our life. How we show up at work, how we deal with difficult relationships, how we create and deepen old relationships. It can take a while to retrain your brain and your body into new territory.
But over time you will see you will automatically be making better choices whether using incidental excercises such as taking the stairs instead of the escalator, or it's having a shower and waking up slowly before switching on your phone to social media.
What will impact your health, how you feel in a positive way? What can you do today? This second, that will create a positive momentum for the rest of your week?
It can't be that friggin hard right?!? And it's not, if you just take it one baby step at a time... it doesn't matter how slow you go, as long as you continue moving forward.. #itcantbethatfrigginhard#naturopath#holistichealth#keepmoving#healthyliving#healthychoices
