(English below)⬇️ Siempre que trato de seguir una rutina de ejercicio con dieta para aumentar mi masa muscular, llego a tener varios problemas con ello, en especial por mi tipo de complexión, soy muy delgado, mas sin embargo no es por comer poco, de echo como mucho, puedo comer lo que sea y no engordar ni un solo kilo, y no, no tengo problemas de salud que me estén ocasionando eso, ni tengo un intruso dentro de mi que me robe la comida, solamente es mi complexión que me hace estar muy delgado, mas sin embargo este es el problema al que me enfrento cuando quiero aumentar mi masa muscular, me toma mucho tiempo para lograr apenas algunos resultados, llega a ser algo estrezante por que a pesar de que quiero mejorar mi dieta o aumentar mi tiempo de ejercicio, simplemente no puedo o no por mucho tiempo, me llego a ocupar mucho con mis estudios, o aveces simplemente no puedo comprar (o hacer) suficiente comida para comer mas. Por estos motivos usualmente dejo de seguir la rutina que tenia en ese momento, y aun así, decidí retomar una rutina una ves mas, a ver hasta donde llego o si me llego a quedar.
Whenever I try to follow an exercise routine to increase muscle mass, I get to have several problems with it, especially because of my type of complexion, I am very thin, but nevertheless it isn't because I eat little, in fact I eat a lot, I can eat anything and not gain a single pound, and no, I do not have health problems that are causing me, I don't have an intruder inside me who steals my food, it's just my complexion that makes me very thin. But this is the problem that I face to increase my muscle mass, it takes me a long time to achieve some results, it becomes a bit of a stress because even though I want to improve my diet or increase my exercise time, I just cant take it for a long time, I get to occupy myself a lot with my studies, or sometimes I just cant buy (or do) enough food to eat more. For these reasons I usually stop following the routine that I had at that moment, and even so, I decided to go back to a routine one more time, to see how far i get, or if I get to stay.

I do it because I have these little people to look out for. These two are the reason I do what I do every single day. Building that better version of me so that I can be around for all their special moments. I want to be able to show the a good example and to make the right decisions that not only will improve the longevity of life, but to also inspire them to be a AMAZING human beings. -

This workout attacks the entire lower body. Each exercise was done in sets of 4 for 10 reps. If you are a beginner, pick and choose at least 3-4 of these workouts and try incorporating them into your next leg day!
Squats: Remember, keep your chest up, push the weight thought your heels (not your toes), and find a foot placement that is most comfortable for your body type.
Deadlifts: Make sure not to arch your back. Push the weight through your heels and make that mind muscle connection with the muscles in use.
Leg Extensions: These are pretty straight forward. For an extra burn, hold the contraction at the top for an extra 2 seconds and slow it down on the way down to keep that time-under-tension!
Hack Squat: Just like a regular squat, find your most comfortable foot placement and focus on the muscles being used. (Higher foot placement targets hamstrings/glutes. Lower foot placement targets the quads/glutes. Be sure to practice never locking your knees out on machines like this!
Hip Abduction: Make sure to feel that full stretch while spreading your legs. When you come to the contraction in the middle, be sure to squeeze!
Standing Leg Curl: This is great for isolating the hamstrings. Be sure to get the full stretch of the hamstring at the bottom of the movement. Flex at the top!
Glute Kickback: This exercise may take a bit of practice. Place your foot far back enough to allow the full stretch to take place. Keep your leg slightly bent, hold that position, now kick back and remember to keep that mind muscle connection with the glutes!

I've been feeling very up and down lately. My dear @eirascheper tells me "it's because of the new moon in Pisces that is triggering deep emotional wounds, so we may see them, heal them, and release them. And within this release, to empower ourselves and shift our wounds into strengthens." I'm usually super skeptical about these things, but I found it a bit comforting... and if it serves me at that moment, why not?
I was feeling super down and stuck in turmoil of negative thoughts and feelings. Like seriously, taking some perspective now... Yesterday I had a great morning with @eirascheper@adrialemany@idolo17 doing a yoga photoshoot; and yet since there was something going around in my head, I was not enjoying myself so much. It's amazing how the thought process is and you are just sort of... stuck there.
So? Conclusion? Well, I came to the following realization. When I am in the moment, I am concentrated and present. I feel ok. Taking this over to the meditation POV: we only suffer or feel anxious when we think about the past or future, we are at peace when in the present moment. This thought reminded me of the Bhagavad Gita: how Arjuna (a mighty warrior) is filled with doubt on the battlefield-not wanting to fight-and Lord Krishna gives him advice and is like #justdoit#itsallthesame#detachmentfromyouractions. So, I asked myself: "who is my Krishna?" And it is always there: my breath, my friends and loved ones, listening to cool music, and our course, my yoga practice.
I am keen on trying some new techniques I've thought of to manage and handle these "dark" moments so to say. I'll be excited to share on how it goes :)
