Curious as to how powerful essential oils are and how they work? Did you know that essential oils work on a cellular level? They are small enough to work their #plantmagic inside of cells! Today we think of essential oils as mere pleasant additions to a relaxing massage. But in olden days, some cultures valued oils even more than gold because their powerful healing properties were known. Enough research has been done that we now have a lot of information on what conditions are affected by which essential oils. Examples of therapeutic properties of essential oils:
💦Rose and lavender work well to treat insomnia. Rub the oil up and down the spine just before bedtime.
💦Peppermint relieves nausea, vomiting and fever and soothes indigestion.
💦Ylang ylang may reduce hypertension and high blood pressure. 💦Bergamot is thought to be effective for insect bites, cold sores, sore throat and thrush.
💦Clove is one of three essential oils in which no bacteria, virus or fungi can live. It is used regularly in European hospitals. Essential oils aren’t your thing? It’s because you haven’t used them properly or consistently to experience the amazing value and healing properties.

As much as the muscle gains is an amazing achievement while training, I still think nothing beats slipping into a pair of jeans that havent fit in years and actually being able to wear them without feeling like your going to die!! #itsthelittlethings#gymaddicted

WASHI TAPE CITIES || miss7 made this great rainbow washi tape skyline this afternoon. She cut the washi tape into various lengths, pasted them down onto the card and then decorated the buildings with a black marker. This activity is great for developing scissor skills, hand eye coordination and fine motor control.
The prioritizing marriage challenge for the other day was to take a walk together. In my stories that day, I shared a bit about why walks are such a priority for us. From day one of our relationship, we've gone on long, late night walks often. Now that we have kids, our walks are shorter and earlier in the day but we still love them. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
There's something about walking that makes the conversation flow and the words come easier and I love it. I'm grateful that we have a gorgeous trail near our home to enjoy walking on in every season of the year and every stage of our life.
