I've had this handmade print kicking around since my college days. Finally put it where it belongs in a frame. Definitely one of my earliest self portraits, taken in my first apartment in Montréal, circa 1994.
"He sat up. He smiled. Something heavy and winged took off from his chest. Eleanor hadn't written him a letter, it was a postcard. Just three words long." (Rainbow Rowell, Eleanor & Park)

My favorite third party FD lens. The Tokina 90/2.5 macro, aka Bokina. It does 1:2 magnification and when mated to the special designed extender it also does 1:1. More important to me is it’s incredible beautiful rendering. The nickname Bokina is well deserved. If you can find one, buy it!
