• Day 17 • #MarchMeetTheMaker • Customers and Feedback • This is the part that makes it ALL worth it! As an artist I have my struggles with confidence, money, artist block, lack of sleep, work balance, the list goes on... but when a customer leaves me feedback like this it makes me so happy and reminds me to keep at it! I’m so incredibly grateful when I’m able to bring joy to someone while doing something I love. It’s just the best! ❤️❤️❤️ Huge thank you all of my lovely loyal customers! I couldn’t do this without you!

Slytherin 🐍💚 I get a lot of questions about how I draw poses and anatomy so here’s a quick tutorial / walkthrough of how I approach it. Swipe over to see all the steps 👉👉
1️⃣ First step is always getting the WHOLE pose down *really* rough. The key is to work fast and keep your pencil marks light. I personally find that getting the whole pose idea down first makes the pose look a lot more natural once it’s fleshed out and it gives me a much better idea of the flow of the piece which creates a lot more movement.
2️⃣ Next step I flesh out the pose. I use a lot of shapes to build it up - usually ovals and circles which creates a much more soft looking pose. Try to think of the body as separate sections (torso, hips, thighs, etc.) and looking at the smaller shapes that make up those sections instead of trying to draw one continuous outline. Once I have it fleshed out, I go around the body with a darker line.
3️⃣ I follow a similar process for the clothes. I always like to get the full figure down before I try to add clothes. This gives you a much better idea of where and how the clothes will fall on the body (esp if you’re someone like me who finds drawing clothes and folds really hard lol). So first I get a really rough idea of the clothes using light and quick pencil strokes.
4️⃣ And then I use that rough outline to finalize the clothes.
I hope that all makes sense and was at least a little helpful 😅 Are there any other tutorials you guys would like to see?? .
The sketch is done for page 30 for #100daysofcomics!
I decided to draw the rest first. I realized I draw a lot faster than I ink and it has definitely been better for me.

This drawing is from the #inktober challenge. Next month, on april 3, starts #the100dayproject. I think I will join the challenge again. It will be my third time, so it's almost a habit 😃. I'm also thinking about creating some mermaids for #mermay. That would be my first time and I'm looking forward to it. I tried to do some challenges of my own, but apparently I need the Instagram community to do it with me to keep it up 😀
What about you? Are you joining the100dayproject project next month?
This dress was in my head for a while and today it came out. 👗I think it's a cool dress. If I really had a dress like this, I would wear it every day!
This is the 3rd plant gal I made this month, but they’re so much fun to draw! 🌷Anyways, I just finished Re:Mind on Netflix and it was one of the best series I’ve ever watched! Did any of you watch it? If not I 10/10 recommend 🌟

I got asked if i can do a quick sketchbook tour!
You wish - i deliver! ❤️
The recording took 2 minutes so my flipping might be a bit fast as i had to shorten it to 1 minute, sorry for that!
I dont really do sketches, most of my compositions and colour palettes i have in my mind and just put it onto paper as soon as creativity hits me.
So in this flip through you will find mostly pencil drawings and a few studies!
Hope you enjoy, and i hope you are all safe and well ❤️
