Water filtration (tap) in the city - for drinking. It’s that time again!! Time to change the carbon filter in our countertop water carafe. Tap water can contain all kinds of nasties including chlorination by-products, arsenic, heavy metals, pharmaceuticals, radionucleotides, pesticides, VOCs, industrial pollutants and more. High-tech filtration systems can be extremely expensive and can take up a lot of space and often remove all minerals from the water. For a small space and a tight budget, a simple carbon block might be the best method of water filtration for drinking at home. We use one block in a carafe on the countertop at room temperature (better for your digestion according to TCM) and exposed to the air (to allow the chlorine to evaporate). We boil it at least once a month for 10 minutes in order to reopen its pores and after 4 months we replace it with a new one. We use the old piece of charcoal in the back of the fridge as a natural deodorizer and it works great! There is 0 waste and our water tastes great and the piece of mind we gain from removing more toxins from our drinking water is priceless! Thanks for introducing us @busy_beingme - we have adopted this method fully and I’ve done heaps more research since your introduction and would recommend this to anyone looking to remove toxins from their environment where possible! #holisticnutritionstudent#holisticnutrition#cleanwater#waterfiltration#hydrate#hydrateright#waterallday#waterislife#liquidgold#nectarofthegods#letitflow#drinkwater#drinkmorewater#drink#gulp#hellnogmos#protectwater#loveyourself#hydrateallday
I am so excited to present a brand new addition to my line of products. After months of research and rejecting several versions, I am so proud to be able to share this with the world. Water is our daily necessity. Drinking water that is stored in a copper vessel is an age old practice in India. Ayurvedic texts suggest drinking water from a copper vessel to kindle Agni ~ digestive fire. Modern studies are becoming aware of the positive powers of copper, its anti microbial properties and safety of storing water in a copper vessel. •
I grew up drinking water stored in copper vessel in India all my life and this practice continues in my home in the US. I have always received comments and questions about the various copper containers in my kitchen. The curiosity and interest led to this search of a portable container for daily water. This bottle also serves the #plasticfree water bottles pet peeve of mine. •
I hope you will support this labor of love and purchase it for yourself or choose it as a gift for someone to use it everyday. To purchase, go to www.naivedhya.com
DID YOU KNOW that adding a pinch of Himalayan salt in your drinking water boosts it with TONS of good things like: it detoxes the body by balancing pH, hydrates you by providing trace of GOOD MINERALS, reduces muscle cramps, helps balance blood sugar! 😃🙌🏻 Just look at this list what Himalayan salt can do to your health just by adding a tiny bit to your water. In my household we practice this good habit, and let me tell you - the water even tastes better ( unless my loving husband puts too much salt in my water 😜) #hydrateright#himalayansalt

We all know that we need at least 8 cups of water per day for optimal health, but how many people adhere to that? Drinking water gets a lot easier and tastier when you infuse it with fruits.
Pro-Tip: Add chia seeds. They're one of the super foods!
Calling all military personnel and spouses!! This workout is AMAZING! You may have heard of it...22 Minute Hard Corps 😉 I was sweating good at the end of the 22 minutes and the exercises were simple and soo effective!
I love that this workout is done by all military veterans. It is so inspiring to be doing the moves while watching them. And if like boot camp workouts you'll LOVE this. I can't wait to try all of the workouts.

We LOVE our chlorophyll water! Did you know it removes heavy metals from the body and neutralizes toxins and pollution we absorb? Chlorophyll also has an alkalizing effect on water that helps the body absorb water better over time! #hydrateright#water#productfeature
