A fun but spicy 20 minute shoulder burning AMRAP followed by some split jerk technique work. I’m beginning to figure out the split jerk! I love the process and the daily grind, then seeing my hard work pay off even when the workout doesn’t go as planned. Today was an amazing day of training! I got fitter, stronger, mentally tougher, and learned some lessons too. Bring on tomorrow!

Did the workout “DT” for the first time over a year ago shortly after I started crossfit. Until today that was the only time I had even attempted it. It’s crazy how much can change in a year because I PR’d my time by almost 15! I’ll take it lol. Hard work pays off! #crossfit#hwpo
In athletics, the goal is to compete in a specific event. To win. Anyone that truly wants to win works their ass off for days/weeks/months specifically for that one event.
What’s the end result?
It can’t be winning or losing because there’s always another event to work your ass for.

Everyone has this mindset that if they have this major goal and they work their ass off for it, that once they get there... it’s all they needed.
That mindset is wrong.
We work our asses off in preparation to compete for the title.
Hitting your goal means that you just stepped up to the bar and you need to fucking win.
