I actually tried to take a picture mid-run but I didn't realize how bad it was until after my shower so instead of that here's my attempt at a #flexfriday picture (even though I'm only flexing my abs). Anyways that was an amazing run. I was aiming to average 8 min/mile so I started out fast cause I wanted to be able to end slow. Sometime on threw way back though I saw these two bikers about a third of a mile ahead of me and I started thinking about how cool it would be it I passed them so I sped the heck up and took a couple small shortcuts, closing the gap to I think a fifth of a mile before they turned off the path I was running up. After that there was still some adrenaline fling through me though so I decided to just keep up a 7:30 pace and try to get my average down. Even I was surprised when I got 7:06 on the last mile though. I have a four mile rest run planned for tomorrow but for now I'm sooo hungry

Reminiscing today. Penn Relays were definitely the most amazing meets ever. I'm so thankful I had the privilege to run at this amazing meets throughout my four years of high school. #penn#highschoolrunning#honor#race#memories
