Stop It!!! Stop the negative chatter going on in your head!! .
How did I know you were doing it?? Because for years I did the same thing and if I’m being 100% honest, I slip up every now and then and let a negative thought in. .
Here is a list of some things that I have learned to do in the last year that have helped me to stay more positive:
✅ Make a list of your positive qualities. I read this in one of my books and since I have done this, I can say that it has helped me a lot. When a negative thought creeps in, out comes my list and I instantly feel better
✅ Pay yourself a compliment every day! I know, I know, when I first read this I was like “what the…”, but it works! Now my go to comment is “I am AMAZING” Try it….it works wonders!!
✅ Give yourself a non-food treat!! I do this all the time. It makes me happy 😉
✅ Try a little kindness!!! I practice this daily and it brings me so much joy
The list that I read goes on and on, but I chose the few that really have helped me a lot. Try them and let me know what you think! .
I promise you those negative thoughts don’t have a chance once you start doing these things!!

Decide what you want. Write that shit down. Make a fucking plan. And work on it, every damn day. 💁🏼♀️ I want to go into the “year of 35” looking & feeling like badass. And each day, I’m doing my best to make it happen. I am not hyper focused on the amount of time it may take me to get there, I’m simply focused on what I can do today that will get me closer to my goals. 🙌🏼
Mangoes are one of my favorite fruits that I discovered a couple years ago. What I was doing before that, I don't really know. Sad loss. But NOW I need these in the kitchen at all times, especially when in season. THEY TASTE GOOD, DUH, that's why I'm here. .
BUT JUST WAIT, they also are full of A,C and E vitamins, as well as B-complex. There are also flavonoids (alpha and beta carotene), fiber, enzymes and probiotics. This morning's workout was hard, cardio and it nearly finished me off 😣
I definitely prefer the days with weights and resistance training rather than the cardio, which is probably something I wouldn't have said a year or so ago 💪🏻 Weight loss is no longer my goal, but to just change my body shape. Less wobble and softness and more strength.
Fit and healthy rather than slow and sluggish, which means fueling my body properly, cutting the junk but not depriving myself. 🥂

In order for me to motivate and help and inspire others to be healthy, I have to focus on my own health and fitness first. Once I’m able to consistently walk the walk and lead by example, it is then that I am able to pull others along with me. I can lead with confidence when I know I’m doing everything I can to live my best life.

Last year I continually had children in and out of my home with the preschool I ran out of my house. Most days, I had to have tissues close by because of all the runny noses in the house. Blow, Wipe, Wash Hands, Repeat. All day every day! I was so thankful when I got my starter kit and decided to make immunity booster rollers for all the families in my care. The families were so thankful, but little did they know, I was doing it selfishly to keep the germs away. Ha ha Never live a day without Thieves! Thieves is my power house oil that I use daily on our family to help boost our immune system. I love it!
The truth is, I still have a membership to a physical gym in Buffalo. I haven’t cancelled it because I am honestly scared. I have too many what-ifs and somehow I can’t shake the feeling that it makes me less of an athlete to not have a “real” gym to go to. But the reality: I haven’t been to the physical gym I am paying for in almost 5 months and nor has Brian and we are both in the best shape of our lives. So who is to say what makes a “real gym”?
Our new gym is open 24/7. Takes less than 30 seconds to get to. Never has a waiting line. Has cleaner bathrooms. I think I like our new gym better!💪🏼

Questa era la sua meravigliosa colazione ideata da @madcarolina93! Ecco la ricetta😍
- 150 ml albume pastorizzato
- 30 ml di acqua
- 40 gr farina a piacere (preferibilmente avena)
- dolcificante a piacere: 1 cucchiaio di miele o stevia
Unisci gli ingredienti con una frusta e versa l'impasto in una padella antiaderente già calda.
Lascia cuocere le crepes per 40'' circa per lato a fuoco medio basso.
Farcire le crepes a piacimento (yogurt magro ＋ miele, marmellata light, burro di arachidi..) Il tutto accompagnato da Activitea per iniziare al meglio la giornata e risvegliare il metabolismo!

After a few months of reverse dieting (increasing food intake) and totally switching my focus from weight loss to strength building and metabolism repair… I’ve made more steps forward than I ever have.
It’s helped me open my eyes to all of the changes that are happening. Not just the physical ones. Though I may not be as lean as I have been (since my focus was opposite of this), I’ve still made huge progress forward.
Years prior I would’ve only seen what physical changes were happening RIGHT NOW, rather than how much easier I was making it on myself to maintain where I want to be.
I’d continue to stay in the mindset of always having to lose weight and continually killing my metabolism. I’d beat myself up for having something that “wasn’t on the meal plan” or for missing a workout.
All these other positive changes I’ve made wouldn’t have even been on my radar.
I’m going into this next phase which includes a short cycle of leaning out a little. But I’m going into it with a completely different mindset than I would have in the past.
•Motivation purely on the physical results.
•Not appreciating or liking where I was at currently.
•Focusing so much on the areas I didn’t like and wanted to change.
•Lack of confidence in myself and appreciation for my body.
•Going ALL IN to get quick results (only leading to falling off and losing those results).
•Motivated mostly by feeling great (strength, energy, confidence) and seeing what my body can accomplish.
•Appreciating where I’m at and loving my bod through the changes.
•Focusing on all the awesome changes that are happening and everything I’m seeing.
•Confident and appreciating the hell out of what my body is doing which includes more than just the outward results.
•Slow, maintainable progress for long-term change.
•Happy with where I’m at, grateful for the journey and what’s to come.
In the last 6 months I’ve done so much to build this appreciation for myself and change the focus from RIGHT NOW to long-term. Your progress is based on so much more than the physical results you’re seeing this very second. Changing my focus was the best thing I could’ve done.

Little fact about me: I used to be able to easily go into a full split and comfortably sit in it🤸🏼♀️ Now if I tried to go into one I’m a few inches off the ground and not as flexible, which is why I’ve made increasing my flexibility one of my goals to work on🏆 I want to be able to do a split again with ease. I also want to make sure I’m keeping my muscles loose and my blood flowing in order to prevent injuries and keep my body in its healthiest form. To reach my goal, I am making sure I stretch daily, add yoga in at least 2 times a week👣 and foam rolling 1-2 times per week. Adding these tasks in will get me one step closer to reaching my goal. What’s 1 goal you’re currently working on?!?🧠🍽🎖

Équilibre 💙 ah, cet équilibre que l’on recherche tous, aussi bien dans notre alimentation que dans notre pratique ou activité physique... .
A trop en entendre parler, on a oublié que la définition d’équilibre n’est pas celle que nous donnent les publicitaires ou les blogueurs/instagrammeurs/youtubers et j’en passe ... .
Il est facile de se perdre dans la vie des autres pour ne pas regarder ce qu’il y a dans la nôtre. Vous pouvez regarder toutes les vidéos « une journée dans mon assiette » du monde, cela ne fera que vous induire en erreur. Croyez moi, je suis passée par là ! Je regardais avec attention les assiettes des autres. J’en suis venue à être complexée de manger plus qu’eux. C’est après avoir étudié la diététique que j’ai compris mon erreur. Est-ce que vous aussi vous regardez ailleurs pour trouver vote équilibre en vous disant que si il/elle faisait comme ça, alors c’est la solution.
Ces personnes ne sont pas vous et n’ont peut être pas toujours les compétences pour vous donner les conseils qui VOUS conviennent. Chaque mode de vie est différent, chaque personne est différente. .
Pour trouver votre équilibre il va falloir passer par la phase déconnection de ce que font les autres et connection à vous, vos sensations et vos besoins. .
Vous pouvez trouver de très belles choses sur insta et YouTube ... mais attention, ces données doivent être vues comme une inspiration, pas comme la règle. Chaque parcours est différent. .
Je reçois beaucoup de messages « j’ai vu que X mangeait ci, Y mange ça... est ce que c’est bien? ». Ma réponse est toujours la même : oui, c’est très bien si c’est ce qui lui convient dans le cadre d’un régime équilibré. Ce n’est pas nécessairement le signe qu’il faut faire pareil mais c’est une très bonne inspiration. 🙏🏼
Trouvez votre équilibre, accordez vous du temps pour le trouver. .
