My Sunday, Part 3: Hamada Castle Ruins. .
Ended my visit to Hamada with a picnic lunch at the ruins of Hamada Castle. According to a certain someone's "humble opinion", it has the best view in town! 😄 Unfortunately we lost the sun after breakfast, so you can't truly appreciate Hamada's beauty, but trust me. It's gorgeous! It was also exciting to see the sakura tree at the entrance gate had started blooming!! I noticed several trees on my way home started blooming too. 😁 .
Thank you for a wonderful visit Sarah!! We will definitely keep in touch! Our love for anime and drama will make it easy 😂
My trip to Shimane was technically long but it didn't feel that way AT ALL! I was constantly amazed at the gorgeous Japanese countryside that was around me at every moment! My favorite parts were the tunnels: after I exited a tunnel, it was literally this big reveal of a whole new landscape that took my breath away every time! 😍 the lake in the first couple pictures was one of those surprises! It's Ohara Lake there wasn't a soul. The serenity was unbelievable. .
Of course when I finally got to Shimane was when the real fun began! Met up with my #facebook friend Sarah for the first time!! We have so much in common, and it's so easy to talk to her!! So sad that she's leaving but it's ok! Facebook brought us together and it'll help keep us connected after she returns home! 👐 .
The final picture shows what is apparently one of the most USELESS bridges in Japan. The bridge connects to a peninsula... 😂😂😂
I already have a BH6 outfit planned so I'm not gonna wear green. Also Happy Saint Patrick Day! 🍀 Honestly don't know much about this holiday but hope you all still have a good day
