9AM and it’s already too hot to work in the garden ☹️ it’s so neglected and struggling with the heat 🔥 picked an eggplants and my first green okra’s I wonder if they taste different to the red I usually grow 🤔
Here's one of our Bilobed Grewia bonsai trees in stock now.
These feature fine, serrated foliage the size of pencil eraser. In late summer, the whole plant is covered in 2mm wide, cross-shaped white flowers.
What I like most about this plant is how dense and compact it is. It could be ten years old and still be under a foot in height.
Good for those who have started with a ficus and want to go one step up in difficulty.
Bright light. Water when 70 to 80 per cent dry. Likes humidity. $138.00
Last Red Currant harvest of the year.....
They did so well this season I have been giving them away when our freezer started to fill up with just currants and berries. We have enjoyed pavlovas and cakes adorned with these little gems, also they are great in salads.....who would have known? Now to start preserving them, well when I get a chance that is, there are alot of homegrown berries, apricots and plums that need preserving too, so these little jewels might have to get in line......
