As always, sharing some new VERY SIMPLE #vegan and #vegetarian meal prep ideas. I am not a chef, and honestly to me, the simpler and blander something tastes, the more I like to use it for meal prep. Eating the same thing every day isn't always the most delicious and glamorous, but it's consistency that gives you the #gains and there's no need to put food on a pedestal. That's when you start to indulge and listen to your sweet tooth! It's easier for me to eat meal prep every day when I think of food as just the necessary sustenance. Don't get me wrong, I definitely have treats now and then. I'm also not competing so I can enjoy those cheats. I think overall life is about balance, but certain changes and consistencies in you diet will yield better results!
Meal #1 - Black Bean Rice Bowl
◼️1/2 cup cooked white rice
◼️1/2 cup black beans
◼️1/2 cup Smartlife soy crumbles (beefless ground beef)
◼️ Healthy fat of your choice - today I added a 1/4 cup guacamole, but this isn't necessary
57g Carbs, 10g Fat, 27g Protein
◼️ 1/2 cup cooked white rice
◼️4.5oz of Extra Firm Tofu w/ spices of your choice
◼️1 cup halved roasted brussel sprouts

If you didn’t know whenever You train shoulders you should always try to hit your three delts ( Anterior which is your front area, medial which is your middle and your posterior which is the back but of your shoulder) I like to train them equally and if you have any of my workout guides you will know just how intense those shoulder workouts really are 💅🏽 Method:
1. 360 degree circles (this is great as s warm up and even incorporated in a super set as a burner) 30 seconds forward and 30 seconds back 3 sets
2. W raises 12x4
3. Single arm raises into double (single,single, double is one rep) 10 reps 4 sets
4. Internal shoulder rotation into side raise 10 reps 4 sets
5. Bent over flies 12x4

Finally after a month of grind I'm starting to get my tummy definition back from my Christmas binge. I find this shape is maintainable as I'm still going out enjoying meals and I do like a glass of wine in the evenings with some chocolate. Christmas has taught me so much about my body, especially knowing when I need a refeed & knowing I can have a crazy day of eating whatever I want and it won't effect my shape as much as I'd think it would. ( as long as it is just once in a awhile). I know most of the weight was water weight from all the carbs I ate (1g of carbs holds 4g of water) I don't even want to know how many I had as I felt like a water ballon the first part of January😆 I am having lower carb days, but instead of eating pasta, bread ETC I get most my carbs from fruit & veg, purely because you can eat SOOO much of them and they are low calorie. I litterally eat 1 box of strawberries, raspberries & blackberries everyday. I LOVE FRUIT !!!!! Im weighing 53kg ATM ... I'm happy with shape & look to keep it the same but gain muscle & lose fat. ❤️
