Weight loss (fat loss) can be an overwhelming endeavour for most of us, even though the base level of knowledge required for such goals is extremely basic
Bottom line...Calories in vs Calories out... (for general weight loss irrespective of lean mass/fat loss)
(And for pure fat loss; consuming adequate complete proteins and exercising moderately)...its that simple...
The difficulty comes down to our #support levels around us, how conducive these individuals are to our change in lifestyle. Find people that won't berate you, beat you down, or scold you for being different. Instead, Find someone, or something that can support you through accountability 24/7, helping you make the tough choices over the easy ones, consistently, not just once, or twice, but EVERY SINGLE TIME. Until the harder choices become second nature and obvious.
Who are these magical individuals you ask? Hell, they can be anyone or even anything! Close friends, family, exercise professionals, close work colleagues, even a dog/pet! Or, a simple diary that you read every day/every night and update into. Whatever you choose, MAKE SURE YOU UTILIZE IT to the fullest extent. (friends and family may not appreciate you calling them at midnight asking for nutritional support however...)

I was debating on posting this but decided to anyway. Here are a few of my favorite exercises from today's booty day.
1. I think recording is a very good way to check your form. Obviously mine isn't great and I'll always be working to improve it.
2. You can tell in this video that I squeeze my glutes. It's important to do that to engage your glutes in your exercises. One of these days I'll go more in depth with that subject. But I promise you, if you squeeze your glutes at the top of all your glute exercises, you will feel those muscles working and it'll feel good!
This is not the most attractive video but I'm uploading it as a reminder that with lifting, you won't always be successful. There will be failures and bad form.
