But todayyyyy the focus goes to my little sister, Ruby!!🔥 She has truly blown my mind with her results... as if the physical results weren’t amazing enough... her MINDSET!! Just to be around her is absolutely refreshing. And to witness the dedication first hand... I love it!!!
“I was for sure most nervous about the meal plan and timed nutrition. I thought it would overwhelm me or be harder than it actually is, but I’ve grown to love the structure it gives me!
My mental health shift has shocked me the most. I went into the program with an image of what I wanted to look like in my head and I would weigh myself to track my process… but now, I’m 58 days in and I haven’t weighed myself in weeks. I feel incredible! I truly love how I look and love how I think about myself now. This is absolutely a lifestyle change, not a fix and you can tell in the way it changes your mindset, I’ve never been so committed or dedicated to something.
My favorite thing about the program is the skills I’ve learned and how strong I feel, not even just fitness skills but nutrition skills too. My muscles feel so strong to touch and I feel strong when i’m doing daily things– that feels amazing. Will I be doing it again? 100% YES YES YES I’ll be doing another full round all the way through and I’ll probably just keep repeating. I’m am soo in love with this program!”🌟

Today’s workout stats. I restarted #couchto5k for the millionth time 😊 followed by shoulders and chest day. I did NOT want to workout today, but of course I am so glad I did 👍🏼

One of our circuits and our HIIT finisher! 😈
- Jumping lunges 30x
- Bulgarian lunge 10x each leg
- Single leg deadlift 10x each leg
- Cable squat 15x
Complete circuit for 3 rounds! .
For the finisher, set the timer for 45:15 (45 seconds on 15 off) and switch exercises.
- Bosu ball pulse squats
- Box or step jumps down to knees
Do this for 3 rounds of each exercise!
Your legs will be on fire! 🔥

That's a big bowl of caramel corn that my kids are currently demolishing. The base is peanut butter but you wouldn't know it! Recipe: pop 1/2 cup of organic popcorn and preheat your oven to 300°. Meanwhile, melt together 1/4 cup peanut butter, 2 tbsp maple syrup, 2 tbsp vegan butter or coconut oil, 1 teaspoon vanilla. Pour onto popcorn and stir well (I use my hands). Spread onto a baking sheet and sprinkle on some sea salt, then bake for 12 minutes. There’s nothing like a good progress pic. Don’t let someone convince you there’s a 30,60, or 90 day plan that will change your life and give you the body you’ve always wanted. .
I promise there’s no fat burner, waist trainer, or juice cleanse that will help you gain muscle and shed fat fast for GOOD. .
It just takes time, dedication, lots of self love, plenty of set backs, AND getting off the cardio machines for hours at a time! .
But you can do it, you are worth it, and please don’t do it for the gram, don’t do it for the revenge body or the damn she got hot. Just do it for your damn self! ❤️
I love pasta night at my sister-in-law’s house cause that means we get SPAGHETTI SQUASH! I love normal pasta too, but we don’t have spaghetti squash in China and I’m obsessed. I topped mine with CHICKPEA & MUSHROOM MARINARA 👌🏼
I made a promise to myself that I would be in the best shape of my life by the time Joey was 9 months. I'm proud of how strong my body feels. What took me by surprise was my INSIDE self. I want to be my best self in all areas of my life. I want to heal. I want to grow. I want to live and think differently than the way I've been living these past years. I found the more my inside self healed, the stronger my outside self got.
The more I keep my eyes focused and head held high in moments of pure terror, the more confidence I create. I refuse to be a victim any longer. I get to take control of my life and my body.
I get asked all the time how I lost the baby weight. My answer is this. I only use body weight and I love being outside. I'm also very fidgety. I don't sit still much. I walk at least 30 minutes followed by different variations of this work out flow everyday. I repeat this flow anywhere from 3-5 times and follow with some easy stretches. I also love to play on the monkey bars at the playground 🙈. I try and bike to the beach a few times a month. I do very workable work outs. I use a chair at home or a bench at the park and have Joey in her stroller next to me. When she gets fussy we keep walking or I cut my work out short.
I'm one of those people that go crazy if I don't move my body everyday. Not everyone is like this. I've learned it's important to listen to your own body, take care of your inner self and you're physical body will follow.
When is the best time to make positive changes for yourself? Now. The answer is right now. We are powerful creatures. We have the ability to change our circumstances at any given time. So why not right now? #now#9monthspostpartum#fitmom
