I hate leg day, but I never skip it. It helps knowing I get to come home and eat this deliciousness. Chicken parmesan with some garlic bread. If anybody ever told you that you can't eat what you want and reach your goals they were very misinformed. It's not what you eat, it's how much! 🍚ARROZ DE COLIFLOR🍚
Una gran alternativa para preparar deliciosos platos que complementan nuestra alimentación.
Aquí tenemos un ejemplo con arroz de coliflor, un excelente sustituto del arroz tradicional, que puede ser preparado en compañía de otros vegetales y cualquier tipo de proteína que hará que te chupes los dedos.
Nuestra sugerencia del día:
1) Sofríe ajo machacado en un poco de aceite de oliva en el wok o sartén. La cantidad de ajo depende de tu gusto, ¡a nosotros nos gusta agregarle bastante!
2) Añade tus vegetales CORTADITOs picados de preferencia y cocínalos por un par de minutos. En esta ocasión agregamos cebolla, zanahoria, pimentón y zuccini.
3) Finalmente agrega el Arroz de Coliflor y sazona con un poco salsa de soya. Revuelve todos los ingredientes para que estos se integren y déjalo máximo 4 minutos para que terminen de cocinarse pero evitando que los vegetales cortados se ablanden demasiado.
4) ¡¡Sirve y disfruta!! 🥗🍚 .

Last week I hit 405 on squats. This week I tried for 415 and missed. I hit 405 on the deadlift for 7 reps today, but I missed the pull at 475. Sometimes we fail, but how would we know if we never challenged ourselves. The road to recovery isn’t easy, but neither is the road to being fit, healthy, in shape, lean, or muscular. The same can be applied for life. The road to being a better friend, companion, parent, sibling, or co-worker can be challenging sometimes, and sometimes that challenge requires change. Change in your routine, change in your attitude, change in your lifestyle. You have to be willing to accept the challenge, whatever it may be, before you can spearhead it. Having patience and the willingness to put in the time has taught me a lot over the last year. We all have set backs, that’s life, but how we overcome those and what we make of those setbacks are what define us. Be the difference you want in your life. Find what motivates you; whether it be music, friends, or the person in the mirror. If you want that new job, or that college degree, or that cheat meal on Saturdays, I dare you to challenge yourself and challenge those around you. Together, we can all achieve great possibilities. .

Yesterday I had my theme planned out for my evening yoga class, but I quickly threw that out the window when a student came up to me, sharing what was troubling him, and requested that the class focus on love. This is the first time I can recall being asked not about a body part request...can we do pigeon, work our core, stretch out the shoulders, etc., but about something beyond the physical body. Afterwards he thanked me sincerely and gave me a hug. I teach to be able to give and to grow and to learn and to love. Thank you to all of my wonderful students in the yoga studios and in the classroom. #welove

Nature’s artwork. Beauty is all around us, but mostly it’s found within.
I remember specifically not wanting to take the picture on the right. I hated taking pictures so much because I was so unhappy with the way I looked and felt. I had absolutely no control over the way I ate and I was semi active. I’ve always enjoyed partaking in fitness and sports. I was the one kid that was always excited for PE class and the fastest fat kid you would’ve ever seen run really fast😂. One day I just decided that enough was enough and I wanted it so BAD. I started off with home workout dvds with my best friend at the time and we went HARD. We started waking up early in the mornings to go for walks around the neighborhood. When we couldn’t get up early enough we would tackle the afternoons. Walks turned into jogging, jogging turned into gym memberships. Somehow we still managed to implement everything and created a lifestyle. We encouraged people in the community to do the same. You guys see where I’m at now?! This took years and years of getting it right, dedication, discipline and dedication. Where to start ? Start somewhere! Anywhere ! Just start. Research and learn!

Closing out their first wave of 2018 new product launches, @benandjerrys is adding three new pint slices to the family: The Tonight Dough, Cherry Garcia, and Coffee Coffee BuzzBuzzBuzz. I was impressed with the initial Pint Slice launch so I’m all about some new flavors. I’d really love to see B&J goof around with brand new combos in the future if possible. Imagine what a white chocolate shell might do to Cinnamon Buns? Oh my. 😍
