13 Mar 18 [Jakarta For Kids On The Blog | goo.gl/joAwL2] :: Thanks @lollawongso for sharing about the Magician job at @kidzaniajakarta. I made sure we found time, no matter how little, to go for this! .
Kidzania Jakarta was the first on my list to visit with the children, also the reason why we chose to stay with Ritz-Carlton at Pacific Place. To get to Kidzania Jakarta, we simply walk through an underpass from the hotel to Pacific Place Mall which took just two minutes.
TIPS AND TRICKS:
1. Bring Your B.KidZanian PaZZport.
2. Leave Your ATM Card At Home.
3. Kidzos Are Universal.
4. Leave Popular Jobs After 1400hrs when excursion kids leave.
5. Inform Staff Your Preferred Language.
In Singapore, all play is conducted in English. In Jakarta, Bahasa. However, you can request for a translation. My children decided to go with the flow and had seven hours of play in Malay, watching introduction videos in Malay as well. I am happy to see them so adaptable and we left #KidzaniaJakarta with them trying to speak the language for the rest of the night! Ewan picked up, "Tak Boleh!" which means, "Cannot!" Yay!
Ticket price is half the price of what Kidzania Singapore is tagged at and there are 62 establishments [Singapore has 48]. Ewan and Faye completed 15 jobs in total and I wished we had one more free day to return for a second round.
One other thing that stood out at Kidzania Jakarta was the countdown timer outside every establishment. With that, children can scout around to make better decisions in maximising their time spent in the edutainment centre. How smart!

As I’ve said before, it was cold when we were in NY. I was determined not to let that stop us doing anything. So in the -12 degrees we walked halfway across the Brooklyn Bridge. We would have gone the whole way but we were running late for the ice hockey! What a view though, definitely worth it. #brooklynbridge#newyork#newyorkcity#newyork_instagram#usa
Happy St. Patrick's Day🍀 Are you celebrating the holiday or exploring somewhere new this weekend with your nugget? Share your plans with us in the comments below! #gowithnugget
Morning yoga🧘♀️ sesh @shangrilatah#princessaudrey👑 made mommy proud for over 30mins. I was so happy she was allowed to participate, even if it meant leaving a little early when she got bored. Her listening ears were on and her downward dog was 👌🏼. So thankful for a resort (and instructor) that offer free morning yoga sessions that encourage family fitness.
We’re on a quick weekend jaunt to Rotorua and had such a great afternoon relaxing at Polynesian Spa. It’s frequently recognised as one of the top 10 spas in the world 😍. We loved just soaking in the lovely hot waters taking in the views out over the lake ❤️ It’s all naturally geothermally heated & comes from 2 springs which are then fed into 28 different mineral pools with varying temperatures. Bliss. The kids got a bit fidgety after a while so we switched to the family pool where they had a great time on the slide & practising their swimming. Thanks for having us @polynesianspa - I swear my aches & pains feel better tonight! #polynesianspa#howwasyourday#hosted

🇬🇧We have not always been the family we are now ... once we were just a boy and a girl, wild and free; then unexpectedly we became a small family of three struggling with a little whining little bear .. to then become a perfectly balanced family of four who now understood everything how it works (or almost😄)
So, in addition to take you with us on the next adventures, we will also go and fetch the best memories from the past ... on the other hand, isn't the life itself the most beautiful and exciting journey?
One of my biggest probs with tour groups... You pay to get into a site and a group of around 30 are pretty much blocking the entrance. Please step to the side! What’s your biggest pet peeve when you travel? #hadrianslibrary
Who do you think is looking at who? 🐒
I always wonder what the animals behind the glass are thinking- are they as amused by us as we are of them? Do they look at us and wonder how strange looking we are? If I was a monkey I reckon I would 🙈🙉🙊
Happy Nyepi! We're wishing we were in Bali again this year to celebrate Balinese New Year's Eve with the Ogoh-ogohs. But I shudder to think how Silent Day would have gone now that the kids are a year older and louder. They belted out an ear-splitting rendition of Coco's "Remember Me" this morning that was probably loud enough to disturb Bali's quiet reflection all the way from our living room in DC.
Makasih @dnds dipinjemin Pognaenya 😘😘 •

🇬🇧We love to choose to stay in a house better than in any rooms hotel when we travel. It’s more like being less tourist, going to the supermarket, cooking food, playing in the living room.
Here we were on the terrace of our amazing apartment in Santorini. We have spent really a wonderful time over there. If you are planning to get to that incredible Greek island and love to know about this house just let me know. You can have a discount for your stay.
And what kind of traveler are you? Prefer to stay in a house or in an hotel’s room?

Who's heading out camping/RVing 🚊⛺this weekend? We need to live vicariously through you until we get our rig back from the factory!
Have you heard about worldschooling? It's a lifestyle and travel trend that's on the rise and gives families the opportunity to use the world as their classroom! @wanderlust.crew has embraced worldschooling while traveling the globe and says it has been a wonderful opportunity for their family to learn together. "When we first began worldschooling, I felt a tremendous pressure to make sure my kids weren't 'missing out' on what kids in public school were learning. It took me a good year to let go of that and really embrace the beauty of the education I was giving my children. We use many different resources for schooling, some online, some in books...but one thing we are really passionate about is reading. We love to read and strive to instill a love of learning in all of our children. We also learn about each location we are in, which is easy to do when you're right there!" Vanessa says.
What do you think...would you ever consider worldschooling your kids? Tell us in the comments! #gowithnugget

Non siamo i viaggiatori delle mete esotiche e dei voli intercontinentali, perché crediamo che il mondo possa offrire tanto senza andare tanto lontano ,se si guardano le cose con nuovi occhi;
Non guardiamo il panorama con binocoli e droni, ma attraverso gli occhi dei nostri figli, pieni di meraviglia e di stupore;
🇬🇧Hello! We are Rigert, Genny, Elia and Lidia, a half Albanian and half Italian family living in northern Italy.
We are a normal family that lives a normal life, but we love to escape from our ordinary life to discover the beauties that our planet holds.
We are not travelers of exotic destinations and intercontinental flights, because we believe that the world can offer so much without going so far, if you look at things with new eyes;
We do not look at the view with binoculars and drones, but through the eyes of our children, full of wonder and amazement;
We are those who choose the less beaten path and with the map folded into the bag, because we think that getting lost is the true magic .. And you, what travelers are you? Would you like to join us on our journey?

A light drizzle in Wilpena Pound, Flinders Ranges, SA and we head back to the motel to discover a flash flood down the road. Amazing to see how the outback reacts. Must have had quite a down pour further upstream. We could hear what sounded like a stampede and were met with a raging wall of water. This image is the quieter side of the road.
Had to turn around and get alternatuve accommodation for the night.

We meet a lot of people and we often get asked what we are doing in life! We are just an everyday family that has decided to put a priority on our family! For us traveling and being outdoors has allowed us to push the distractions aside and just spend time with our kids! Becoming parents has changed our perspective on life and what we value! We don’t want time to pass us by and look back wishing we would have spent more time with our kids! People also ask why we hike and travel with our three little ones!? Isn’t it hard? Yes, it can definitely be intimidating to do these things with your kids, but we think the reward outweighs the hardship. We hike and travel with them because not only do we want to focus on our family, but we want to foster a spirit of love, compassion and respect for people and places around the world in them! What motivates you to travel or get outdoors with your family? Or what do you want to do this year to push aside distractions so that you can spend more time with them?
