🍣 PINK obsession at the moment 🍣 it’s interesting that your colour taste changes the older you get and being a “black” pants and jacket person and always afraid to incorporate colours......I have now realised what a bloody boring way to live - Inject COLOUR in your life. In your clothes, in your home 🏠 and use colours which create emotion which create a feeling in you.
I cannot wait to show you all the colours I’m using in my new project. ——————————————————————————-
I’m using some pinks and other colours I’ve never used before and seeing inspiration with colour being used I’m eager to experiment - yes take some friggin’ risks with colour - I’m not saying to splash out on the colours of the rainbow all over the house but- blacks, greys, beiges and creams are great but can be bland and lifeless. Don’t always be so safe! 👊

The tiered, wedding-cake-like construction of this Victorian is a fine example of the Second Empire architectural movement, which stretched from 1852 to 1870. In keeping with the tastes of its time, which called for unrestrained embellishments, the property boasts a mansard roof with elaborate cresting, generous eaves supported by corbels, and tall windows with narrow louvered shutters.⠀

A beautiful Spanish hotel is inspired by its unusual landscape. The design of a deluxe hotel set in the Bardenas Reales Natural Park in Spain’s Navarra region is informed by its surrounding semi-desert landscape.
Designed by Barcelona-based architects Emiliano López Mónica Rivera Arquitectes, Hotel @airedebardenas is a four-star property set on a wheat field within the limits of the natural park and surrounded by greenery along the banks of the Ebro River. Challenged by time, budget, and environmental constraints, their innovative and elegant ideas resulted in a truly unique design. To see more, click the link in bio.

A steel-and-glass compound is one family’s launchpad for adventure. The four structures that form Studhorse in Northern Washington encourage family members and guests to interact with the landscape—and form lasting memories with each other.
Recalling the tradition of wagons around a campfire, an image quintessential to the Wild West, Studhorse by @olsonkundig is a series of four buildings encircling a courtyard and pool in the rugged terrain of Washington’s Methow Valley. Designed as a second home for an active family, Studhorse encourages a sense of exploration and a personal connection to the land. “Adventure is about inconvenience in that it reaffirms and reminds you of where you live.” says principal architect Tom Kundig.
