I'm gonna be very honest with you today, Geordies are the friendliest people I have met in my life. No joke. Only in Newcastle, you go from a stranger to a mate in a matter of 2 seconds. When I was going up the Grey's monument on my own, people made sure if I was okay. When I waited for a train at the Central station, random strangers asked me where I was heading (no, they weren't following me afterwards). ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
When I moved to Germany from Lithuania, I thought Ja, people here are lovely. Now that I've been to Newcastle, I really struggle to find people as great as Geordies are. ❉✷
Where did you meet the friendliest people?
Verona. The city of Romeo & Juliet, Renaissance romance and charming piazzas. Most of the time associated with Shakespeare, Verona attracts a lot of people from around the world in search of forever love. It's the fourth most visited city in Italy. Even thought it is popular with tourists, the city’s layout and size makes it less hectic and more laid-back… more Italian. I couldn't have fallen in love with Verona more than I did. It absolutely blew my mind and I was truly prepared to stay for pasta, gelato & Italian language. ❉✷
