All credit to @createthelove for this one. He truly hit the nail on the head:
"In relationships, conflicts are opportunities to further understand and connect with one another. And our skills, when it comes to arguing, are mostly fostered through the observation of those who had an influence on us growing up…ie. parents, coaches, mentors, siblings, friends.
Most of these people learned from others who have never actually navigated an argument where on the other side of it was deeper intimacy and love.
Do you realize how rare that ability actually is? Most conflicting conversations are a tennis match between criticism and defensiveness… and then when things really escalate, they lead to anger and withdrawing. Guess what happens next time there’s a conflict? Same dance. It’s a learned pattern, and one we can’t get past till we learn how to.
This is why most relationships never really gain that much depth… because each person is still communicating from their hurt, as no one has ever shown them how to heal that hurt through words and conversation.
Pay attention to the emotional limits you hit in conversations whenever you’re triggered. This can be in ANY situation. Romantic relationships, friendships, and even in the workplace. You’ll begin to see that the moment where you want to shut down or escalate, is actually the moment when your deepest core desire is to be vulnerable and be heard and understood.
Make maintaining and creating connection more important than ego preservation, and you’ll begin to see that you can build more intimacy in the space where you fear rejection the most." 🙏🏼 #createthelove#letlovelead#openheart#vulnerabilityispower#unconditional#seeyouatthetop

On January 29th, 1892 Coca Cola was invented by John Pemberton to find a substitute for morphine addicts, an addiction which he suffered from after the civil war. The invention of Coca Cola was to work as a drug to cure people of addictions, headaches, pain and disease following two myths that the Coca leaf and carbonated water was good for your health. When pharmacutical companies began to sell Coke they found the results to be uneffective for curing problems (they discovered that Coke was more addicting than cocaine) but became extremely popular for people to buy over the counter for its excellent taste. Coca Cola was later bought by business man Asa Griggs Candler and turned into the Coke you know today.
You may have an excellent, strong idea, somewhere down the road it may fail in the goal or objective you where trying to achieve. In business you need to be open minded and willing to change your goals and products to lead to success.
In Coke's situation, it was a terrible drug for fixing problems, but was very pleasurable and tasteful, Coke would of never became the worlds largest consumed soft drink if the inventor didn't decide to change his goals.

California Cobb Strawberry Salad🥑
A Bright Salad is just as welcome at my house in December as it is in the Summer (especially with the name California! 🌞 #SendingLove 💕) Ingredients for the salad:
8 cups Romaine lettuce, chopped (or spinach or lettuce of choice)
2 cups Strawberries, chopped
1/2 cup Feta cheese, crumbled (or blue cheese)
1/2 a medium red onion,
1 Large Avocado,cubed
Sliced fresh cucumber
2 large Lemon Pepper Chicken Breasts , cooked and sliced
Arrange salad ingredients on plates.
Lemon Pepper Chicken Instructions:
2 large chicken breasts
Juice of 1 fresh lemon
1 Tbsp avocado or olive oil
Zest not rind of 1 fresh lemon
Sea salt to taste
Freshly ground black pepper to taste (I use a lot of pepper for these!)
Combine marinade ingredients, pour over chicken & coat well, either in a glass bowl or Ziploc.
Let marinate for 1-4 hours in the refrigerator.
Remove, let sit on counter for 20 minutes.
Sauté in about 1/2 Tbsp additional oil on med/high for about 4 minutes per side until cooked through. Wrap in foil to keep moisture in while arranging salad.
Avocado Ranch Dressing:
1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
1 medium avocado, peeled and cored
2 Tbsps fresh lime juice
1 clove garlic, minced
1 Tbsp chopped fresh parsley
2 tsp chopped fresh dill
2 tsp chopped fresh chives
1/2 tsp onion powder
Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
4-6 Tbsps unsweetened almond milk, as needed
Add all dressing ingredients except for milk to a food processor. Pulse until blended, scraping sides often. Add in milk 1 Tbsp at a time to reach desired consistency. Store in refrigerator in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
