As a mothers, We have to lead ourselves before we lead our kiddos, they learn by example, if I don't want to do something, I can't expect them to do that same thing I am avoiding. A path I chose, to grow, evolve and sharpen myself to my greatest potential is not an easy one, not an over night thing either, always living outside the comfort zone, always stretching myself to know what I can improve within myself, of what is needed. It's not "just" pain, it's emotional, physical, mental pain one endures on such a path. Like a flower getting out of the hard shell into the soil to grow. Why do I chose this? To BE for the next generations that are yet to bloom, and to assist them in flourishing. Thank you for listening my dear friends.
If you keep doing what you’re doing right now, where do you see yourself in five years?
Think about that question!! Someone asked me that same question. Sometimes the answer can scare you. If it does, then what are you going to do about it! #vision#dreams#goals#goalgetter#dreambig#lifestyle
Meditation is an ancient spiritual practice that incorporates the mind-body connection as a foundational belief. Research has demonstrated a number of psychological and physical benefits from #meditation, including relief from chronic lower back #pain. An NIH-funded study found that a mindfulness meditation program for a person with lower back pain also resulted in a $982 reduction of health care costs and a $724 reduction in productivity loss over time.
There are several different types of meditation. #Vipassana, also known as insight or mindfulness meditation, begins with learning to focus on the #breath and then learning to observe the emergence and cessation of #thoughts and physical sensations without getting caught up in them. Mantra meditation derives from #Hindu traditions and incorporates a sound ( #mantra) that is repeated a certain number of times, using beads to keep track of the number. #Yoga – as a meditative practice rather than an exercise regimen – typically involves concentrating on a center of #energy in the body, called a #chakra. Qigong is a Chinese mind-body meditation that typically incorporates protracted body movements combined with breathing exercises. Contemplative prayer is a #Christian meditative practice that involves the mental repetition of sacred words.
If you’re new to meditation, you may be able to find a meditation group or Meet Up near you, or you can learn to meditate from internet instructions or YouTube videos.
Energy is the essence of life. Every day you decide how you're going to use it by knowing what you want and what it takes to reach that goal, and by maintaining focus.

Going to start doing all my steps again. 10 000 minimum per day. Last time I did this, I was able to keep a 49 day streak on. Let's see if I can beat it.
Here we go.
Ps: To anyone who thinks that I am and I quote "obsessed" with fitness have to remember that just because I enjoy this doesn't mean I have a problem.
You want to post pictures of your cats because you're passionate about them? Well I'm passionate about slow and healthy changes to the human body. Get over it or move on. Thanks. Have a great day. 👌
The extremes get more extreme, the droughts get dryer, the floods get heavier, the storms get more ferocious and often. Anyone who can't see that all these natural disasters are related, and are only going to get worse if we don't make drastic change now, needs to take their blinkers off and see. The clock is ticking, let educate, make as many people aware of the biggest controllable threat to our kind - climate change.
Together we #can
What does this mean? @Scientific_American reports that extreme event attribution, one of the most rapidly expanding areas of climate science, is how scientists are investigating the extent to which climate change has influenced any given event. Recent examples include the Russian heat wave of 2010 and the California drought, with researchers looking at “the extent to which global warming has made them more severe or more likely to occur. One scientist found that floods in the south of England in 2014 were made 43% more likely due to climate change. #WitnessingChange#extremeweatherevent#flood#flooding#drought#wildfire#globalwarming#scientificamerican
