Sunrise at the incredible Mesa Arch in Canyonlands National Park. Famous for glowing orange when the first light of the morning hits the underside of the arch. Once in a lifetime experience! (Worth the 5am wake up 😴🤦♀️) .

“There are a few things in life so beautiful they hurt: swimming in the ocean while it rains, reading in empty libraries, the sea of stars that appear when you are miles away from the city, bars after 2AM, a bed of roses in bloom, all the things we do not yet know about the universe, and you.” || Beau Taplin
The cold snap is slowly going away, and the heat and sun are returning to Rio Dulce. The best way to rate the level of sun is how long it takes your clothes to dry which can range from about a couple hours to 5 days 😅🌞

Some people need to open their small minds instead of their big mouths.
I'll look back on this and smile because it was life and I decided to live it .

Monsoon 2015. | The Disappearing Wet Lands | The rainfall in Khasi Hills seems to be dwindling every year. Within last 5 years, the average rainfall has reduced by as much as 20 %. The rainfall this year has been in the range of 800 to 900 c.m. only. As a result, area seems to have lost its title of ‘The Wettest place on the Planet’. Global warming is the only reason that could be given for this change in weather pattern. Whatever may be reason, the reduced rain fall, increased average temperatures and disappearance of the fabled water falls in surrounding areas. Khasi hills is a high limestone plateau, rain falling on the hill drains away immediately, finishing up on the plains of Bangladesh, far below. With a growth in the population, water has to be carried up from the plains during the drier winter months or have to walk down the hill for several hours to fetch water from the springs.

"This location is special due to the extremely limited number of people allowed in per day, and it is a permit-only location. I took this at dusk, just as the light was on the lowest at the horizon before going all the way down. Even though it may seem counter intuitive, during these times of golden hour and sunset, I find it best to under expose a bit in order to preserve the details and not blow out the highlights of the sky. Getting details back from shadows and blacks is far easier than getting them back from highlights." | a7R II | 16-35mm | 1/640 sec | f/2.8 | ISO 640 |
Still amazed by this beautiful landscape of @purenewzealand. Remember the other drone shot of the Tasman Lake? We went on a glacier explorer tour just a few moments before - maybe you can spot the boats!
Rolling back the years. I remember going to the 12 Apostles with a handheld camera in early 2015, it was certainly a great way to learn the basics and was where my love for travel started. I enjoy sometimes looking back at those images where I was shooting with very little intent. This is one for the @yantastic#yantasticffa 🇦🇺

Going wild in Norway. 2017 has been absolutely crazy. I’ve been away maybe 40 weeks of the year and for many of you that don’t know I’ve also managed to run a full time job too. It’s been my second full year in Sweden and I’ve finally started to settle down during the time that I’m here. Two things that I really wanted to do was video and blog, I set these as goals and they certainly got the better of me as I didn’t even get them started. Fortunately I will be going part time with my job which means I can concentrate on other things like that, which gets me really excited for 2018. I’ve already met so many of you on the road and have followed your journeys with photography. I can’t wait to adventure on with more of you very soon 🤙🏼 hope you don’t mind this little update. I feel so impersonal sometimes 🐶 also put any location recommendations underneath so I can go there!
