These ingredients in the hands of a master turns a cocktail into a beautifully orchestrated symphony. Each ingredient playing a role and not one over powering the other. Complex. Layered. Beautiful. @joseluisleon is an award winning mixologist running multiple bar programs in Mexico City, including @baltrabar - Jose, thanking you for allowing my camera in to capture you. It was truly an honor.

@hudsonvalleybrewery Apotheosis Sour IPA with raw wheat, malted oat, milk sugar, almonds, cinnamon and vanilla hopped with citra powder. This is next level! Tart, sweet, subtle cinnamon and plenty of almond in the finish. Game changer!

Scotch + Gin. FTW.
I love experimenting with very simple mixes of ingredients, this is an idea I stumbled upon this week...which I think I've made up...though, with all cocktails with few ingredients part of me wonders if someone's made it before, like surely...but hey, for now I'll claim it, and it's delicious!
• 40ml @monkey47_dry_gin sloe gin
• 40ml @monkeyshoulderuk blended malt scotch
• 20ml @brancamenta_it
• 1 egg white
👉 Shake all ingredients with ice and strain into coupé, garnish with a tulip petal and the cork from my Monkey 47 bottle.

The wine has such a gorgeous color like a liquid ruby. It is very expressive, bold and explosive. Acidity, concentration and black fruits are all there, along with the tannins to withstand some time.
With the imminent arrival of the 2015 primeurs, you’ll have to keep an eye out as they are showing absolutely lovely. While the very first primeurs notes all pointed to Margaux as THE appellation of the vintage, opinions are now way more shared. It’s safe to say 2015, under the sign of the heat and the sun with a constant attention to canopy followed by a fresher, milder september, was overall good; and Right banks are especially charming in their fruit, depth and balance.
