Operation paint the kitchen tiles white is way underway. I started it a week ago and still have one more coat to go 🤭 it must be the nesting feels but I’m having a serious de-clutter of this house the past few weeks 💁
This Hide-A-Bar console has raised door panels and offers generous room for wine and spirits. Each side features an adjustable shelf and storage on the inside of each door. The center of the cabinet features a revolving door with two fixed shelves providing additional room for bottle and glass storage. The top is a planked style look with a hand planed surface and various forms of distressing. Three upper drawers hold serving utensils, bar cloths and other items.
I think I’ll title this “the art of making ATG look small”. Five foot wide x 35” tall. Internally drawers are 56” x 32”. Almost A0 but A1 comfortably.

HALLWAY 🌿 I was sick of walking through the hallway because it was one of the rooms that I’ve never really bothered with - it was gloomy and way over cluttered with coats, shoes, school stuff and just about anything I couldn’t be bothered to sort out so I bought down these old drawers from upstairs and re painted them in this dreamy green, cleaned everything up and had a huge de-clutter. I filled it with the shoes and moved most of the coats to the cupboard under the stairs. I will probably paint the top half of the wall white again but for now it is so much better. 😍😍
This simple jig is a huge time saver. Taking 15 minutes to build it saved me tons of time in measuring and marking out hole locations to install drawer handles. Just center it on the drawer and start drilling level and perfectly spaced holes. I made a short build video on this little fella - link in my bio.
Oh yeah, the secret drawer!
Believe it or not this is the only accessible part of the cabinet interior. The design brief did not call for any usable space at all, but it seemed a shame to not include at least one interactive element.
